A few weeks ago I went to the Stockbridge location for a belly piercing after I was recommended by a friend. When we got there, they stated the piercer was out due to medical reasons but I could take the trip to locust grove to get it done there which was fine. Got there and a tall guy with face tattoos was the one helping me. He was “nice” but was very short and seemed irritated to have to help me. He quickly marked my belly and as me and my friend were looking at them in the mirror, it seemed like he was rushing me by the way he was standing looking at us so I sat down and got the piercing done. Piercing went fine but aftercare was very limited but my friend had hers done so i figured I’d just ask her. The next day, it was very swollen. I wasn’t concerned cause I knew it would swell so I took ibuprofen like my friend recommended and cleaned it. Fast forward a week, it had got so swollen that the balls started to make a dent in my stomach like they were being sucked in. I could push the bar and it would pop out but then go back in. It was very painful. I called the original shop but the piercer was not working that day so I went to another local shop and immediately they told me it was pierced too deep which is why the swelling was causing the balls to go into my stomach. That there was no way the piercer didn’t know it was to deep. They stated it won’t heal and I’ll have to remove it. They asked where I got it done, told them and they said they have had to fix this before which made me a little upset because the shops reviews were all positive. I wish I had just waited for the piercer my friend recommended and I will probably go to her to get it redone in a couple weeks but I won’t ever get pierced by...

My 8 year old finally got the courage to get her. Ear lobes pierced and once we were there about to sign stuff, she was scared and wanted to leave. Jeremy was there that day and let her come to the back first, showed her EVERYTHING and even showed her videos to let her know what to expect, and was SO patient. Also explained everything to her on HER Level. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She’s very sensitive to pain and cried after the first lobe was pierced, he AGAIN, patiently waited, talked to her, let her get over the scare and shock and worked through her next love with her. So if you have a kid like mine who had to take honestly, almost TWO years to get the courage and have her ears pierced, 10/10 recommend this shop and Jeremy! You’d be hard pressed to find someone more patient and kind with kids. AND their parents. I’ll certainly be going back for my personal piercings in the future. Also- the entire staff exudes this exact same friendliness and kindness. OH, and we just walked in, I know that was a big question of mine and can confirm, walk in piercings are HIGHLY encouraged 😂 Anyways, thanks for everything Jeremy! You made a VERY scary and daunting experience, a wonderful and great memory for my baby ☺️

Went here to get my belly pierced and let's just say it was an awful experience! I got my piercing a couple of months ago within the first 2 weeks my belly piercing started to sink into my skin I then called to see if I could get a longer piercing or suggestions….no help (I was also told to clean it with dial soap) that wasn’t right! After I was told they couldn’t help I called the original marked society located in McDonough they were happy to help and I got a longer piece of jewelry along with a brochure telling me my cleaning procedures what’s normal and what’s not and when’s the next time I could get a new jewelry! Fast forward to today my belly piercing came out I rushed to Karmic tattoo where I was told that whoever did my piercing took way too much skin and that it wasn’t right…which makes sense why my piercing is taking a bit longer to heal. Im assuming that whoever did my piercing never did one before and or is very new and I was the “test dummy” I say this because when I finished getting pierced I walked to the front counter made my payment and was about to walkout when the older man told the boy to tell me my cleaning procedure.
