I am truly frustrated with these incompetent people. I have placed an online order for laminate flooring for our commuter home in Bethel Island in which we had been restoring. We are from Fresno and we can only go there on the weekends. I scheduled it to be delivered on a Friday the next week. My husband took a day-off from work, took our handyman with him so they can install the flooring the next 2 days. They stayed and waited for the delivery but nobody showed up. I received an email saying "Unable to attempt" and we missed the delivery. I called the number on the email I received and asked what happened. The rep did a research on the issue and even contacted the store where it is coming from and found out it is the Lodi store. I was told that they cannot deliver it anymore and need to reschedule. They just wasted our weekend because they said they can deliver Monday in which nobody will be at home. So I rescheduled and went back to the Bay Area late Friday night driving again 3 hours so we don't miss delivery in case they deliver 6AM in which the email says between 6AM to 8PM. We waited until I made a followup call before noon to make sure it will be delivered . The rep said that we are the 3rd in spot so I tracked the delivery getting anxious if it will be delivered. So I relied on that tracking until it reached up to what the tracking says, "Heading your way" at around 2PM. Monitored the tracking and then suddenly at 5PM, it again changed to "Unable to Attempt". Again?!?! And from the email, it says, I missed the delivery. WTH! Called Customer service again and was told by the rep from Brentwood that Lodi store said that the delivery truck broke down. Can you believe it? If they don't want to deliver, they could've just told us or cancelled my order! And why the he'll did they gave me an option to pay for delivery if they could not deliver in my area? Something is off! Received an email again saying I have to reschedule on Wednesday. I ignored that email and after a few hours, I received an email saying that it is rescheduled even I did not agreed to that day of delivery. These people are sooo incompetent and you cannot rely on what they said! I am so frustrated I could curse them after all we had been through. Time, money and effort we lost. Worst customer...
Read moreHonestly, we went to the Sacramento location to place a pickup at this Lodi Home Depot for a Grill that we ordered at the beginning of June for fathers day. It is now the 22ed and we still have no grill, this place keeps giving us the run around on when it would be ready, saying it was ready one day and we get there and it wasn't.. They wanted to downgrade us on a different set, and after we said no they went ahead and set it up anyway and called us to say the grill was ready. Thinking it was ours we went to go get it and like I said, it was the downgraded version. Today is my boyfriend's birthday, they called yesterday and sent us various text messages that it was ready tomorrow which is today. We head over and the customer service representative didn't have the greatest attitude while attending to us. She said we were early and that the grill wasn't in that it would be between the 22ed and 25th, but on our voicemail the person clearly stated it was ready. We asked if there was any way to change our pickup location to one that had it. They said no they cannot when they clearly can, they just didn't want to eat up the discount we had received for inconvenience. We planned on BBQ for fathers day and we couldn't do that, now we planned a BBQ for my boyfriends birthday and we can't do that either....when will we ever get our grill? Idk that's a really good question.
UPDATE: So we called Home Depot on the 25th and they said it wasn't there and we finally got someone who was willing to help us, he said that since it showed they had inventory, that they wouldn't get any to their store so we would more or likely never see that grill, he worked his magic and said that it will be in on the 29th no exceptions, so today the 29th we finally have our grill. Thank you to the only person at the Lodi Home Depot who was actually willing to help us out instead of...
Read moreWow, what a bunch of nuts that work and deliver/install for Home Depot. I went to the Lodi store and wanted to buy a Dishwasher for $648.00 and after all was said and done with delivery and install the bill was $1,004.52. Delivery was free, install was &99.00, haul the old machine away was $15.00, if I was having them install it I had to pay $19.99 for an install kit, O, and let's not forget this is an electrical appliance so it needs to have an electrical cord, $9.99 and then we bought the 5 year protection pal for $160.00.
So Wednesday comes for delivery and the truck pulls up and two men get out, not from Home Depot, and they walk in and tell me they cannot install the dishwasher as there is no air vent... confused I call my husband, cause the old machine works great and we have not had any problem with air gap venting... Nope can't install.
So they leave the new machine and don't take the old one... as per me.. Fast forward to today
My husband is installing the machine, he get the directions out and low ans behold, they are two ways you can vent the dishwasher....and most of you know this, right?
You can vent to the sink or you can vent to the garbage disposal. Duh, ours was to the disposal.
Stupid people that aren't trained properly and try to make everything your fault. My...
