I normally go to the Verizon store for all my cellular needs, but when my phone died on the way to work one morning, I was desperate to get a new phone. The service rep was nice and very helpful. He was also very convincing. I was up-sold on a new data package that came with an Ellipsis 8. I normally don't buy my electronics without a thorough review, but when I was offered the tablet for basically 'next to nothing', I took the bait. Little did I know I was just sold a POS or more politely a worthless tablet. The Ellipsis 8 is so slow that internet is practically non-existent and any good app keeps crashing. My suggestion would be to not let the staff at this store con you into any up-sale, they were not honest up front and are pushing off old stock to improve their verizon service sales. All of a sudden ( passed 2-3) months, my phone would lose charge, down to 20% after just getting rid of emails every am. Plus, the manager also explained about the issues the IPhone 13 are starting to have. I exchanged my phone for a 14 model. I really didn’t want a new phone either. Read moreI had a difficult afternoon. My old pixel 4 was ready for retirement. I walked into the store just after closing. Not realizing that the store was closed Kolby and his staff agreed to assist me. I was there to either activate a very old phone for temporary service or potentially buy a new phone if it was financially feasible. Kolby agreed to look over my account. With his expertise he reviewed my account, found that there was an opportunity to improve my service plan, I was also eligible for a Black Friday deal, which turned out to be to my benefit because I am a fan of Google's pixel phones!! Kolby found a deal that included the new pixel 8 pro and the Google watch for a remarkable deal. Considering my predicament at the time I walked into the store I was beyond in need of superb assistance. Kolby turned out to be the hero of my evening! Great service!! Great phone!!
