We just moved in the area. My kids love Tikka Masala with Naan. So through a quick yelp search for Indian food, we found Indian Curry and Grill. On Yelp, the food looked delicious and the inside looked nice and clean so we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we gave this place a try, it was good enough for my kids to ask for it again the next week. So we’ve been here twice in two weeks. Upon entering, you can decide to order take out at the counter or dine in. We were greeted and seated quickly both times. The service was great, they were all so nice. The first time I ordered a mild chicken tikka for my kids and mild chicken biryani to test the spice level. The kids devoured their chicken tikka, it was very flavorful and rich, so yummy! My chicken biryani was also delicious although it wasn’t spicy enough for me. It came with this delightful side of yogurt sauce. It is divine, the yogurt sauce gives the biryani like a fresh bite. The lightness of the yogurt sauce helps tone down the heaviness of the biryani. I absolutely loved it! The second time we dined in again, ordered chicken tikka for the kids again and mixed biryani for myself. I accidentally ordered both dishes medium this time. My kids were dying in spice, they are 8 and 6 years old. They like a little spice and mild was perfect for them. They could not handle the medium. I felt bad but they said it was still yummy and surprisingly ate a lot of it. The waiter and waitress checked on us constantly. The waitress came by towards the end of our meal asking if everything was alright. I told her everything was delicious and casually mentioned that I accidentally ordered the tikka too spicy for the kids and she offered to make another one that was mild. I was not expecting it and was going to decline but watching my kids suffering through the spice I accepted and thanked her. My mixed biryani was good, the spice was definitely there this time but I prefer the chicken biryani. We ordered some desserts, mango kulfi and gulab jamun, it wasn’t bad but just not our cup of tea. Oh I almost forgot, I also ordered pani puri. It didn’t come with enough filling, but it did come with a big cup of sauce! Like I only used up 20% of the sauce. This is now our favorite Indian restaurant. It is the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten and my kids love it. Each dish lasts us 2-3 meals and I find the price to be worth it. Do not hesitate to give this place a try. The staff are very nice and the food...
Read moreIt was our first time eating here and it absolutely will not be our last. We ordered the veggie platter #2 (it's called something else but it was a platter of food), butter chicken curry, lamb curry, and mango coconut curry. Everything was so delicious. The garlic nan actually tasted like garlic which I've never had happen at the 3 other Indian restaurants I've been to. The butter chicken my son ordered was so creamy, my lamb curry had so much flavor I couldn't even tell it was lamb(which I was a tiny bit sad about since I finally started to like it's mildly gamey flavor but it's tenderness and richness made up for it), and my boyfriends mango coconut curry must have been amazing because he wouldn't let me try it even though we were supposed to all share just to make the most of trying somewhere new. The platter was probably my favorite thing though. It had a lentil curry that was wonderful but the paneer curry took the cake. It was shockingly sweet while maintaining it's spiciness. The fire roasted cheese and veggies were so good too. This place has such an amazing vegetarian selection that I could easily eat no meat here and not miss it for a second. I honestly can't wait for the next time we go shopping in Lodi with plans for lunch because we'll probably...
Read moreThe food was delicious! We ordered a combo meal for two. We were pleased with the selection of dishes and the portion sizes were adequate. Our server was attentive, however, towards the end of our meal we were asked to leave a Google review. I told our server I would and he asked me if I could do it right now. I told him I was boxing up our leftovers and I would leave a review after I was done. When I was done, he came back over and asked me if I knew how to leave a review. As I was looking on Google, he reached over to my phone and started scrolling on my phone, showing me where to leave them a review. I was a little taken aback at his boldness. It was off putting to say the least. No business owner or employee should be forcing customers to leave a review. It makes me wonder how many other customers have felt obligated to leave a stellar review when they were just trying to enjoy their meal. Please stop this practice! Reviews should happen organically and be given honestly, not by intimidation. We enjoyed your food, but would think twice about coming back because of the aggressive pressure to...
