I rarely leave bad reviews because sometimes people are just having a bad day, but today takes the cake. The managers at this store are always rude to customers but today was unnaceptable. We walk in and Juan is blocking the holiday aisle with a cart. He didn't hear us because he had airpods in talking to his mom on the phone. Not a huge deal, but combined with everything else is completely unprofessional. We go to get in line and it's long, but there was another register with Juan and Mauricio standing at it. Multiple people thought it was open and went to go over. Juan yelled at everyone that only register 2 is open. Again, not professional and actually rude. Eventually 2/3 minutes later once there's 7 or 8 people in line for one register Mauricio opens, but takes the 3rd person in line. My dad asked why he wasn't taking the 1st or 2nd person and he said that's policy. Which is fine but not common practice, (my dad's managed retail stores for over 35 years). Mauricio helps 4 or 5 people, then the line goes down. My dad is still in line because the people 2 in front of him were buying balloons and that takes a minute, so I got in line so my dad could switch lanes. Mauricio looks at me, and snidely asked "Do you have a question". I ended up getting out of line, and instead of asking the 2 people waiting (my dad + a woman in front of him) if they'd like to come over, he closed the register refusing to look at my dad while walking away. Pretending that Juan called him (he didn't, Juan said so himself). However, Beatriz who ended up helping my dad was so kind, and patient with the people choosing which balloons to buy and why im giving 2 stars instead of 1. Juan and Mauricio need a serious attitude adjustment, this is not the first time they've been rude to my family or other customers in the store. Just the first time Mauricio was wearing a name tag (Juan was not) their behavior is unacceptable. It wasn't the 10-15 minute wait time, we've waited longer at dollar tree with no complaints. It was the attitude from the manager that made me leave...
Read moreThe manager(s) at this location are RUDE. I mentioned the fact that a food item was priced higher at this Loma Linda location. This manager (male) went on to call the store I originally purchased the item at at a lower price from, and began to tell the manager to check his cameras and check his cashiers. While his sidekick loudly stated "we dont sell no tea for $1.25." As though someone were doing something fraudulent in order to buy something from the Dollar Tree. Get your life, sir/ma'am (sidekick). No one needs to change prices at the Dollar Tree. Once confirmed by the other store that some items were marked down, this person did not apologize. Just so all of you customers are aware, they are selling items that should be a $1.25 for $3, and can be purchased in a regular grocery store for a lesser price. Go and get a Vons club, Stater Bros. or Costco membership and buy your groceries there. You'll get more...
Read moreLiz is a phenomenal store manager. She keeps things running and does a great job. It takes a lot to be able to deal with huge shipments of merchandise to be put out on the shelves. Also, when its busy I see her putting up with abusive customers that complain about long lines and not enough registers open. That's out of Liz's control because she follows the labor laws and gives her employees their lunch breaks and regular breaks. She cannot force corporate to hire more people, so she does the best she can with what corporate gives her. She totally deserves to be praised and given a huge raise for what she goes through on a daily basis. I will continue to shop there as long as Liz is the manager. She has a fantastic attitude and shes always really nice to me despite everything that is thrown at her. Sincerely, a devoted customer, ...
