I'd be willing to bet this place is better during peak season, but if you're going to be open during other times, you've got to do it well. Upon walking in my kiddos and were greated by the overwhelming stench of cigarettes. Around the walls of the shop are your regular run of the mill gummy candies and repackaged mass produced treats. In the middle was a small table with 6 flavors of saltwater taffy, one of which was an assortment of flavors that must have been leftovers because they were so stale I couldn't let my toddler eat them for fear of her choking. The girl behind the counter could not have cared less that we were there and only looked up from her book to ring us up. This was our last stop on our way off the island and I had hoped to stock up on some treats and souvenirs but instead left with some mostly melted chocolate gummy bears and a bag of subpar saltwater taffy....

My husband and I got four pieces of fudge and I was happily surprised when the bill was only $7!! We definitely spend more than that for the same amount of treats at other beaches. We were greeted with friendly service and surprisingly it wasn't busy when we went. This is your one stop shop for candy, fudge and taffy! We'll definitely be back the next time...
Read moreFor 7 years, my wife and I stop to get this amazing fudge. This year we called ahead to double check their hours of operation. No answer. Their website says 9am, so we planned trip out so we’d arrive after opening. We have a toddler that gets restless in a stopped car. We arrive at 9:30a and there’s a sign on the door saying they don’t open until 10am. My pregnant wife was in tears...1 star rating for making my life difficult on the drive home. Update your hours...
