All Souls Cemetery & Mortuary — Local services in Long Beach

Several of my family members are buried here my grandparents, aunts & uncles, & my father. It Is a pleasant and serene cemetery, the mortuary & chapel is beautiful. The Mausoleum is Very Peaceful & Relaxing. Sixteen years ago my mother & I had to pre- arrange my fathers funeral while he was terminally ill, we had the sweetest counselor then her name was Irene what a lovely caring woman she helped us tremendously as well as the sisters in charge, they gave us exceptional caring service. Recently my mother wanted to pre plan her final arrangements for herself, our counselor Rodrigo Nodari was a tremendous help he met with my mother several months ago when she was at the cemetery visiting my father, she decided to walk in a inquire on some information, Rodrigo was very helpful to her, with scheduling conflicts I was unable to pin down a date to meet Mr. Nodari at the time, through a series of emails and schedule arranging for myself & my mother Mr. Nodari was very accommodating & agreed to have us all meet at my residence in Irvine. Upon Meeting Mr Nodari I was very please with his diligent service as a counselor caring disposition and our meeting lasted over 2 hours with all the conversation & giving us a thorough idea of what All Souls has to offer concerning final arrangements. Mr Nodari answered my mothers questions completely, dis demeanor was very kind warm and friendly, very professional in his field. This is a least the third time we have visited my sisters grave. We have paid for a vase twice pluse once when she was buried. Witch makes it three times. yet every year we visited the vase is gone. Now I live a long ways away. Like Alaska. I can't be just dropping buy. But i do have family here. They check for us. My large family has visited her at least five time in the last 7 years and Everytime we stop and talk to the care takers they have a different excuse why the vase or flowerswepay for is not there.. We pay for flowers every month. There excuse is, its Over grown is classic, someone stole it, the lawn guys had to remove it, you did not pay for it. They say pictures of the vase installed are not proof that you paid for it.. we have lots of proof, not including recepts, insert sarcasm here, so i get it, we paid for somone to install a in ground vase that doesn't work there. Do you realy think we are that stupid. We had to go in there to find out how to have one installed. Some of the staff are very toxic to there patrons, others are appeasing. We are coming back in a couple of days, we will see if there telling the truth. And if they are commited to there word. About doing there job. there blog won't let you see what your typing. My sister and I visited All Souls while my mom was at the end of her hospice care. Her parents were buried at All Souls over 30 years ago. She wanted to be cremated so that she could remain with each of her three children. For the moment we entered the mortuary there was not one word of sympathy given. The staff was rude, and when we asked about dividing the ashes the woman said absolutely not yet couldn't give us a reason why because she was new. She walked in with a folder of information and a post it with a time we could return to meet with her. No consideration of what might work with our schedule. She never even gave us her contact information or name. We asked to see the chapel, and she said no one could do that right now, but when we came back on Friday someone could. Then she asked to escort us out. We left there stunned. It was a horrible experience. If we could, we'd have our grandparents exhumed. They appeared to be more about what you were spending and not what you were experiencing. We are Catholic. To call themselves a Catholic Mortuary/Cemetery...
