went there just the other day on a saturday. Pulled into one stall push the button and got no answer in about 5 minutes. apparently it wasn't working. Backed up pulled in the next one it was just a simple computer screen in boot mode it looked like. Not working. Pulled into the next one wasn't working. Tried one more time push the red button and it said this red button has been activated and I was like okay cool. I sat there for about 5 minutes no one ever said anything. A waitress came out gave food to the lady next to me and I asked her if this stall was working she said let me go check as soon as she turned around someone answered on the intercom and said welcome to Sonic how may I help you. Finally I got to order I slid my card and lo and behold that wasn't working either. They had to run off with my card and run it. Then I went and asked for more salsa. Gave the waitress a tip because she had to make two separate trips back out to my vehicle after bringing me my order. I'm a very well not be back. Not any longer I do not recommend. If anyone responds to this from Sonic don't give me the we are sorry for your experience and if you would like to take this review further contact such and such such and such I'm not doing a damn thing else. Fix your store you have the signs of sorry management. It is not up to me it is up to you. Let your business fail if you want. People are letting you know it needs to be fixed. Look at Facebook about this store. People in the back smoking weed behind the store and someone waiting 40 minutes for a shake just to get a melted milkshake. Read moreMy husband went to Sonic tonight in Long Beach tonight is Sunday almost 9:45 p.m. and asked for one vanilla milkshake no cherries on top and and M&Mblast. When the girl brought the order out he received the M&M blast with the pecans mixed in, and the vanilla milkshake was a chocolate milkshake with a cherry on top. He asked the girl to please change order she just stood there said how much it cost and he needed to pay she did not apologize he continue to say I'm not paying for this until you get my order correct. She never said I'm sorry just walked away. Came back with the order again seem to be correct except the Cherry was still on top. Ask for the manager he finally came out and refuse to apologize for any of his wrongdoings or of whoever made the mistakes my husband was there at least 20 minutes and to top it off he was the only car in the drive at Sonic. I believe this was taken out on him because there was three people inside and they should have got the order correct the first time. We go there a lot most of them know who we are and this just shouldn't have happened. We will be calling the manager tomorrow as the people this evening we're of terrible conduct and have no manners. Read moreI recently visited the Sonic Drive-In in Long Beach around 7:40 PM. The parking lot wasn’t busy—there were maybe five cars in the stalls. As I sat in my stall, I was browsing the menu since I don’t frequent Sonic often. I had a general idea of what I wanted to order but was planning to add more items.
However, the employee taking my order seemed rushed and cut me off by stating my total before I could say, "Wait." I found this frustrating because there was no visible reason for the rush, considering how slow the evening seemed. When I tried to ask for his name, no one would provide it.
On a positive note, Abigail, who delivered the food, was fantastic. She was quick, efficient, and brought a much-needed bright spot to the experience.
While Abigail’s service stood out, the initial interaction left me disappointed. I hope this Sonic location improves communication and customer care. As a general atmosphere perspective it's like any other Sonic but it seems that a couple of the stalls haven't been repaired in a couple years so it makes it frustrating whenever you pull into a stall just for it to be...
