THANK YOU JESSE!! THANK YOU JAKE!!
I went into the store on Friday with some electrical issues. Nothing that I (or chatgpt) could think of was making much sense to me. Jesse first started helping me (very welcoming) and tested my battery. Once I started going into the full range of issues I was having, he pulled Jake over to chime in too.
I feel a lot of pressure to act like I know what's going with mechanical stuff but honestly I barely know anything about cars HAHAH. They were able to walk me through my issues, answer my questions (even the same ones multiple times), and guide me on what the solutions COULD be and what they'd do in my shoes, all without making me feel like I'm dumb or annoying. That's a big deal for me! Hats off, big thanks to both of those gents
Ended up replacing my battery at Costco the same day and will keep an eye on things, likely the starter that's actually the weak link in the chain. I didn't even end up buying anything but these guys really helped me out. Would trust them over my own mechanic. Would come back...

They had the battery in stock and gave me all my options and gave me recommendations. ...Of course, my car wouldn't turn on as I was trying to leave (ugh), but Pat and his associate were just so so nice and helpful. Things were just not going my way this morning and their customer service seriously helped me brighten up my day. Thank you so so much for being so kind and helpful. I will recommend my friends to go to the Los Alamitos location (or wherever Pat goes)...
Read moreBetter than the movies! I watched a 17 year old boy try to walk out with wiper blades hidden in his coat. Sorry, but you don't "forget" to pay for 20-inch wiper blades.
The manager and clerk were very cool about it. They asked him to leave the store and he refused. He kept standing there repeating, "I don't know how to change the blades. I'm only 17 !"
The manager kept asking him to leave the store or the police would be called.
The kid just stood there demanding they help him install the wipers...
Yes, the Los Alamitos PD showed up... He finally drove away.
It's one of the dumber things I've...
