So I came here 9mo pregnant. Worst experience of my life. The staff are extremely evil and weird to the girls. They put me out for making a joke? It’s like a prison you can’t have your phone they claim for safety reasons but it’s all control. Who puts people with newborns and 9months pregnant out for no reason at all and call themselves holy? The program makes no sense they hire anyone. I remember I was in extreme pain and couldn’t move or walk and felt in danger and didn’t have a phone bc they take them and the house lady is all the way down stairs and I didn’t have a roommate. They got mad at me for wanting to sleep in an extra ten minutes while 9months pregnant mind you I was still compliant with the rules and activities I just wasn’t downstairs fast enough. They got mad at me for rubbing my belly bc it was hurting ??? Made me stay outside 9months pregnant until it’s time to come inside just no overall respect for your mental or physical health very evil rude snarky people. Wanda is overly evil the whole staff it’s all a facade and gimmick very bratty and immature and I didn’t feel loved or welcomed. I came into the program willing to stay as long as I could to better the life of me and my child and wasn’t welcomed or shown...

Well I can tell you that it isn't for everybody. If you have had just one drink or smoke of drugs or alcohol the case manager will have you go to substance abuse programs. And just keep in mind that they will take your phone, wic, EBT card, and any sorce of money you have. They will tell you which jobs they want you to do and if you dont work those jobs you arent fit for the program. the teachers of the classes there will try to push their ideas on you. the staff will try to get you to do things in your pregnancy your way. and they will have you leave the emergency housing monday, wednesday, and Friday, all day on your feet in the heat to search for jobs. even though the job applications are online. So if you have a set goal of what you want done and how you are going to raise your child, be prepared for them to butt in and control...
