Our daughter had struggled developmentally for years, socially, physically and in school. We had taken her to various specialists for reading, sensory motor work, speech and more.
After finally receiving the diagnosis from Stanford that our daughter has ADHD we were desperate to try and find a solution for her, we wanted so badly for her to feel confident in her own skin and her own abilities. After trying various organizations, Axiom differentiated itself right away.
The team spent over two hours utilizing a range of tools (from technology to hands on person to person) to provide an incredibly comprehensive assessment of our daughter’s needs. Axiom determined the root causes for our daughter’s learning differences and specifically built upon the cognitive processing, physical or executive functioning systems to address these issues.
Since beginning their LEAP program in February, we have seen unimaginable growth in our daughters’ capabilities. She had once said to us: "my brain doesn't work good", one can imagine as a parent the feeling of hearing these words from your child. With Axiom's dynamic and multifaceted care, our daughter is now thriving with more confidence and capabilities than we could have ever hoped for in such a short period of time. Axiom has not only helped our daughter intellectually progress but also physically (her auditory and sensory processing sensitivities have greatly subsided) and emotionally (she now is able to communicate her emotions and feelings with confidence).
On top of all of this, Axiom has embraced our family through COVID-19. One of the founders, Dr. Simon, has personally made herself available over zoom conferences to advise and ensure that our daughter continues her development as we shifted to remote learning. That said, the entire team from our daughter’s day to day teacher (an exceptional developmental expert), to our center director and our education director are incredibly caring, compassionate, understanding and patient. All of them have invested in not only our daughter but also our family; we as parents have also learned a great deal with new tools to better interact with and engage with our daughter as well.
We feel so blessed to have found Axiom, we honestly feel that they have saved our daughter and will continue to save her from a life of feeling anxious, left behind, out of sync and insecure. Thank you, Axiom for...
Read moreAxiom is a true godsend. My daughter started struggling academically, for the first time, in 4th grade, and it was really affecting her self-esteem. I couldn’t put my finger on the reason, and at first I thought it was perhaps just because she was young for her grade.
I received a flyer in the mail about Axiom’s Learning Efficiency programs, which addressed core processing and executive functioning skills. I was confused as I only thought of Axiom as a place that helped with ACT and SAT test prep, but in reading about core processing skills, suspected that my daughter could be struggling in that capacity.
I went in, told them about my observations of my daughter’s struggles, and within no time not only was she scheduled for an assessment, but with the assessment results was a detailed plan of action. Thankfully, before I even fully understood the implications of her learning struggles, Axiom had a plan and was working with her to achieve the goals set out.
Literally, everyone at Axiom is super positive, supportive and attentive to the needs of their clients. My daughter loves going to Axiom, and I have definitely seen her confidence, self-esteem, performance and perseverance measurably increase. With Axiom’s help, she is experiencing the reward of knowing that as she puts in the hard work, she does see improvements. Along the way, they have also been a compassionate “listening ear” to my fears and concerns as a parent.
Some of my daughter’s difficulties have already been resolved thanks to Axiom. While some others won’t magically disappear, Axiom is effectively helping her “shore up” in those areas. She is also learning tools and strategies to help her as she learns to advocate for herself in the classroom and beyond.
I am extremely thankful for Axiom. Through their knowledge and expertise, not only have they directly and tangibly helped my daughter, they have also helped me to better understand her and her struggles, which has helped me to be a better parent.
There are other places that do a subset of what Axiom does, but Axiom provides an excellent and comprehensive set of services for kids who are struggling academically regardless of the...

One day my wife took David to his session and they got there 30min late. When she got there Isabella was sitting on a chair and she didn’t even stand up nor acknowledge that her student just walked thru the door. After a little while I believe was Kai approached my wife and he told her that David was late and mi wife told him that it’s ok, you still have one hour to work with him as to what Isabella responded that there was no point to start the class because that’s way she teaches there is no time to do anything helpful with just one hour.
My wife told them that if they refused to work with David they should not charge us fir the session and they told her that of course we would get charged in full fir not showing.
I went there later on and raised hell, I received an email last night from Kai saying that they will not charge for the class but I have already previously told him to please go ahead and cancel all future lessons, my son will never set foot in that place again.
I was already not happy at all that Ella was not going to teach David all the time, then I find out that she is moving out of town, so she would not teach him at all. I can’t stand the attitude of Isabella and her coldness towards David, and now she would be the only person teaching David?? That will not happen.
I want you to please refund the 3 or 4 sessions I have left that I paid for. What happened that day is a terrible behavior and the only person that is worth a dime in that location that I had to talk with is now leaving, she hasn’t been here for David for the past two sessions. This is not acceptable.
So after talking to Zarabeth and then the regional manager Douglas, two months later they still have not given me an answer of if they will be giving me my money back that I did not used because I would not take my classes in a place where the only person worth something left and the rest couldn't give a damn about my son.
They are just waiting for me to forget and disappear but I will be writing more comments and a bit better written once I have the time and I'm not just copying from my emails...
