My husband and I were there for a passport photo appointment and a man came in “in a hurry” to get a package mailed. He seemed irritated that she was already helping us and coerced another employee over to help him. When gently told he had an incorrect delivery address and that they recommended he change it as suggested by their system so it would be delivered properly, he became irate (“look at me when I’m talking to you” “do you understand English?”) and then looked meaningfully at us for what seemed to be a request for white solidarity. THE LEAST you can do to make things right is offer to refund me the cost of the tape or give me a store credit for $15 to refund the cost of the tape plus a little bit for inconvenience. I made a mistake. I was doing a Zappos return for the first time. When I selected UPS Store as my drop off, I didn't realize I needed to tape the boxes. I've been coming here for 7 years, it would have been nice to get a one-time assist.
I had to choose between buying the tape in store or taking my boxes back. I bought the tape. I tried to use it again today because I couldn't find any other tape in the house. I was reminded again of the incident and that I haven't been back to this UPS Store since.
