I ordered a few outfits online for a friend’s wedding I am attending. Even though I provided my measurements to the makers from the online store, none of the outfits fitted to my body correctly. There was a total of 3 outfits that needed to be fitted and altered. A Gown, a Lehenga blouse, and a Kurta set. It was the first time in my life where I’ve needed to have alterations done. I found Neha’s alterations services, called her, sent her photos of the garments, mentioned the fit issues I was experiencing, after that, the rest of the process went smoothly.

When we met in person for the first time and during our fit sessions, Neha made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. She has so much knowledge and expertise in Indian dress, styling and fits. I was so amazed by how perfect every piece fit when the adjustments were made. Having something fit so perfectly to my body defiantly boosted my confidence. She puts a lot of care, diligence, and fine detail in the work she does.

During one of my fitting appointments, she showed me a beautiful gold belt that accentuated my waist and paired every well with all 3 outfits I had altered. The accessory was an excellent styling tool, I fell in love with it and purchased it from her right away. It was super helpful having that styling experience.

Beyond the services Neha provides, we connected well with each other and I felt like I made a genuine friendship during my time with her. I would highly recommend working with Neha - she single-handedly saved my wedding with her vision, protectiveness, and creativity! I ordered two designer outfits from Kynah with custom made sizing and was really upset when they arrived and didn’t fit at all (one top was way too small and tight on the shoulders and the other top was somehow too baggy and unflattering). Because my own wedding was my very first Indian wedding and I am not accustomed to how lehengas are supposed to fit, I didn’t even know what alterations I should ask for - Neha took such great care of me, working with amazingly efficient tailors who made a lot of changes (such as replacing the kan kan that originally came with the outfits with a lighter kan kan that will be much easier to dance in). For one of the outfits, she even proactively went online to see how the outfit was supposed to fit, discovering that the cape sleeves were made longer than they were intended to be on the model online, and suggested we ask the tailors to shorten the cape sleeves so the outfit made me look less wide and dragged down to the ground. Neha took such amazing care of me and I appreciated how much time she would spend with me, answering my every question, whenever I drove the hour from the city of SF to her South Bay place (completely worth it every time!) I now feel so beautiful in my outfits and feel like they look modern and flattering like I would hope (which is completely different from when I first came to Neha in a panic and thought my outfits couldn’t be fixed at all). I already can’t wait to work with Neha again!!!
