Carniceria Chapala — Local services in Los Angeles

This place is a Gem, has been here for many years. I have been searching for the perfect Carne Asada. Expecting the meat to be flavorful, thinly sliced, tender and juicy, well this is the place.

I got here on a Sunday morning around 9am and they were already grilling the Delicious chicken and ribs, we tried those a week ago and it was good!

Today we were on the search for a good carne asada. We got 3lbs of Ranchera and 3lbs of the Espaldilla along with a 16 Oz Guacamole, 16 Oz of Ensalada de Nopales.

The total amount for all this was $66.52. The place has changed so much for the better, kept very well organized and clean. Customer service was Excellent.

The Carniceria section had so many

types of meats, including chicken and cheeses. Different types of Salsas and Macaroni salad. Pretty much everything you need for a good Carne assada including a vegetable aisle and plenty of Mexican goodies! They also have ready meals ie; Birria, hand made tortilla My Family really enjoyed the meat, this will be our go to Carne Asada place...

Staff is friendly and helpful.

They make delicious roasted chicken and ribs outside in the parking 🅿 lot, smells really good when you pass by.

I gave it a 3 Star 🌟 though because it's name does not really stand for what a real Mexican Chapala market would carry.

Lack of Mexican products and beers. Their sweet bread can go hard after sitting in the bread box.

Employees are not to be blamed, it's management.

Omg, the things I could say about this place... I have been to this location all my life... and it has always had the absolute best meat and Mexican food.... the guacamole is always sold out for good reasons... if u have patience and time to spare, the BBQ ribs are to die for... they smoke them and grill them there and the wait is absolutely worth it... get the prepared ranchera for your Carne asada.... highly...
