If you’re on a budget and don’t care much about style, this place might work since the prices are reasonable for the area. But honestly, her style is awful—just looking at her own fashion and hairstyle, you can tell she has no eye for style. I asked for curtain bangs, but she cut them completely straight, like blunt bangs. Her English is really limited—she just kept saying “ok, ok.” The person who washed my hair didn’t seem to know what shampoo they were using, and my hair ended up super dry and damaged after.

To be real, if I could leave a negative review, I would, just to share my honest experience. The reviews and TikTok videos hyping this place up are not accurate at all. This was my second visit. The first time, I got blunt bangs, so it wasn’t a big deal, and I dressed well that day—maybe that’s why she styled my hair decently, though it still looked terrible once I got home. This time, I thought trimming curtain bangs would be simple, but the result was a disaster. I’m never coming back here, and I’m sharing this so no one else has to go...

Honestly, I almost never leave reviews, but I hope this one helps someone. I had long, thick hair, and I asked for a layered cut to give it some shape. However, the result was completely different from what I wanted. They cut my hair way shorter than I asked for and didn’t follow my instructions.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the stylist simply said, “Hair grows,” which I found very unprofessional. Now I feel like I barely have any hair left, and I deeply regret going there.

To make things worse, my hair is wavy, and I know that once the temporary straightening wears off (which will be soon), it’s going to look even worse. It was a very disappointing experience, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it at all.

I've been coming here for almost a year now, and I've always had an excellent experience when the owner cuts my hair. However, this time I needed a haircut urgently and got a last minute slot, so I got a different stylist. Julie (I believe) clearly doesn't know how to cut short styles as she completely butchered the style I've had going ever since I started coming to CLE Hair in May of 2024. She didn't come close to the photo I showed, or even close to what I came into the salon with. I asked her to keep the length in the back and that was the first thing to go. I'm really disappointed because I've built a lot of trust in CLE and was let down this time. I'll continue coming, but no one but the owner will be cutting my hair from now on.
