While Coffee Signal is located on the insanely busy street of Western, you'll find that the interior and ambiance of this shop reminds you of a small, boutique coffee shop located in a suburban neighborhood. Life seems to slow down when you walk through their doors when you see customers silently working/studying and small groups of friends leisurely chatting away. Enough about the ambiance though. I came to get some studying done and got a cold brew. It was fruity and floral, and it being a cold brew, had a very low level of acidity. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a "no-nonsense" caffeinated drink. For some odd reason, I had the idea to test the speed of their internet. This is something I don't believe I've ever done at other cafes, but I'm glad I did. On December 4, 2021, Coffee Signal achieved upload speeds of 290 Mbps. That is insanely fast, even compared to home Internet standards, and ungodly compared to cafe Internet standards. As of late, I've experienced very spotty Wifi at many various Ktown cafes, so if you need dependable and fast internet, I would strongly recommend trying out Coffee Signal. I don't know which provider they used, but I need to get what they got for my home. Die to the small size of this plaza, finding parking in the lot will be pretty unlikely. If you're willing to walk a block or two, there is plenty of neighborhood...
Read moreCoffee Signal (커피시그널) is a Korean-owned coffee shop that recently underwent a change in ownership and a fresh renovation. The new interior is bright, clean, and inviting, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or study. The new owner, Rose, personally crafted my drinks, and they were absolutely gorgeous! The pistachio powder in the Einspänner is directly imported from Korea, adding a nice touch. The Peanut Butter Einspänner, my personal favorite, had the perfect creamy texture. I highly recommend it! I also tried the Strawberry Cloud, which featured strawberry purée, espresso, and a delightful cream top. It was incredible! I also had the chance to try their newly added croffles. I ordered three varieties: Strawberry, Cheese, and Egg Mayo. The Strawberry Croffle stood out because they use strawberry cream instead of just adding strawberries on top, unlike other places. The Egg Mayo Croffle was a pleasant surprise – I had never tried a savory croffle before, and it turned out to be my favorite! All croffles are freshly made to order, crunchy, and sweet. Overall, Coffee Signal is super aesthetic and a must-visit for anyone who loves good coffee and cute photo...
Read moreCoffee Signal is a cozy and chic little coffee shop in K-Town LA located in a small plaza on Western avenue. They offer a modest selection of coffee, tea and signature drinks. Moreover, they have breakfast and pastry items for customers to indulge.
We came early Saturday morning and were perfunctorily greeted by a hushful female Korean staff. Interior was aesthetically decorated with white and yellow painted walls. Furthermore, there were copious seats and tables for customers. I dig their orange egg lounge couch in front facing the large round mirror.
I had a Lavender Latte and an Avocado Toast. My latte has a rich, smooth lavender taste — perfectly bold and balanced. Food was just okay. Prices were competitive. Atmosphere was relaxing. Free WiFi. Service was spot on. Free Parking in the plaza. Overall, it’s a nice coffee shop. I...
