Overall not a bad place but will start off with the good and share why this is only 3 stars: Good: Small, cozy market and clean with the items you'd expect to find in a Brazilian market Friendly service Parking - lot at times can get a bit crowded but no complaints for free parking

The primary reason I gave it 3 stars is the price - it's simply outrageous how much mark up they've done. I do understand things may be difficult to find but it's not like this is the only Brazillian market in all of SoCal..and there are a few other options: Valley: off Sherman/Tampa; Culver which would be the best advice there are 2 right off of Venice and significantly cheaper (you can even get some things at Vallarta now (locations vary)). If it was a dollar..two on most things I'd understand but on a few items there's a 50-60% uplift from if you got it elsewhere! So while we may stop by for 1 or 2 items when absolutely necessary, we'll plan on getting...

I cannot recommend this convenience store enough. I was astonished at how friendly, how thoughtful, and how generous the owner is. I found out he’s only been opened for 2 years, and I can already tell he is going to be open for many, many more. He is not only very kind in his words, and his manners, but also in the way he gives back to the community. I stopped in today for some quick snacks and drinks, I notice some pastries on the counter and he explains how it’s a single mother trying to make ends meet in the community, selling them for $2 a piece, and all money goes towards her. The second you strike up a conversation with him, you can feel the pure intentions and genuineness filling the atmosphere of the conversation.
