True Barbershop — Local services in Los Angeles

I’ve been to this shop twice, and unfortunately both visits were disappointing for the same reasons. Each time I booked a haircut and facial for $40, and each time I was charged the full price—even though I only ever received a haircut.

On my first visit, I arrived on time (a little early, actually). Instead of taking me at my scheduled time, the barber who was supposed to cut my hair sat down and got his own haircut from another barber, which pushed my appointment back about 20 minutes. When he finally finished, he cut my hair, shampooed it, and told me the service was complete—ignoring the fact that I had booked a facial. When I asked how much I owed, he still charged me the full $40. The haircut itself was decent, so I let it slide.

On my second visit, the experience was nearly identical: I was made to wait past my appointment, booked (and paid for) haircut + facial but only got the haircut. To make matters worse, this time the haircut wasn’t even good. It felt rushed and half-done, as if the barber just wanted to finish quickly—especially since I noticed he had a young lady waiting for him.

In short: • Both times I paid for services I didn’t receive. • Both times my appointment started late. • First cut was decent, second was sloppy.

I’ve been searching for barbershops online and came across True Barbershop because it’s close to Csun and my current law school.. I called and set up an appointment with multiple barbers each time I go to see their true value. Since cutting my hair I’ve never entered a barbershop as clean and ready to work employees. The barbershop offers many amenities with top of the line service to anyone who walks through their doors. Highly recommend to anyone who sees this review to call and set an appointment with any of the barbers located in this facility. this review is about Eric Lomeli, I have been looking for a good barber for quite some time and I finally ran into him. This guy is a while vibe and cuts my hair really good. He is extremely kind and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in your get a haircut. He greets everyone and I like that! most barbershops people don’t even take the time of day to simple say hi. Eric deserves more than 5 stars, I would give him 1,000 if I could.
