This is an incredible self-taping studio and a true blessing for all actors! I've had the pleasure of working with Jovan multiple times and not only is he an incredible friend to me now, but he truly does always put forth his best effort into making sure your self-tape turns out incredible. From lighting, framing, helpful tips to portray the character and also being a great reader - this is highly reliable and consistent location to ensure you're able to deliver a quality tape to casting. You'll definitely find a safe and supportive zone to practice and perform your craft here. This location also has extended hours and accepts last minute bookings, which has saved me so many times! I've booked a couple things from this location. Most importantly for me, Jovan makes every self-taping session a FUN one by simply being himself, it's clear that he enjoys what he's doing which is contagious, and it makes me look forward to every visit. My experience at this studio has been frustrating for two main reasons.

During my first visit, I had to wait 10-15 minutes past my scheduled appointment, which delayed my entire day. The owner didn't apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience, but I let it slide.

For my second session, I made sure to note the importance of starting on time, as I had a self-tape audition due at noon. Unfortunately, I was delayed by an unforeseen accident on the 101, arriving at 11:10. When I got to the studio, I was disappointed to find another client being served during my time. Despite my prior notice, the owner didn’t wrap up with that client until 11:20, which ultimately caused my tape to be submitted at 12:07—disqualifying me from the role.

To make matters worse, the owner seemed annoyed with me for being late, even though he contributed to the delay. His off-putting energy made me uncomfortable, and it almost derailed my performance.

Both of these experiences reflect a lack of respect for clients time and a disregard for punctuality. For those reasons, I won’t be returning to...

Jovan is such a joy to work with! I had a self-tape come through in the morning and energetically I wasn’t feeling my best but I knew I would love support. So I finally enrolled in the membership, scheduled my appointment in the same day, and came in to work with Jovan. And the process has been so seamless and wonderful. He has been extremely knowledgeable and professional and made me feel safe and welcome. Before this experience I would stress to get my home setup together or find friends to read with me or support with filming, editing, and submitting. I like that i can now come to the studio work on my tapes in this professional environment and not have to stress out about it at home. Also, Jovan has so much wisdom and I get to learn and level up my game....
