Travel Inn — Hotel in Los Angeles

This place is adequate. I stayed for a single night on July fourth weekend in a single queen room for 2 adults. There were 5 serviceable outlets in the room (more that were occupied by the TV, a/c, fridge(mini) and microwave (full size). The bed was VERY firm, but will do if you're tired enough. There were 5 chairs in the room, almost all of them a different style/design. Theres a lot of light that bleeds into the room via the windows and doorframes, but it's akin to having a nightlight in the bathroom. There were 7 lights in the room, 4 of which were independent lamps, where two of them were nightstand lamps with an extra spot light attached and an outlet attached to each to plug in a phone charger, along with 2 usb ports per nightstand lamp. There was a single clothing rod with a mix of different hangers on it if you need it. The room floor was clean enough, but the surfaces of the 2 night stands and one table were a bit dusty, as was the top of the tv cabinet. Our thoughts were that they were in the middle of improving the rooms little by little still, as was exhibited by the early (8am-ish) drilling and hammering a few doors down from our upper floor room, but we were awake by then so it didn't really matter to us. There's no pool, one vending machine for beverages, free parking, and easy check in with a pleasant gentleman who checked us in at 1am and out at 9:45am. Would stay again for up to 2 nights. After a long flight to LA we arrived at hotel early they were happy to look after our gear till check in time they were put into a dirty store room which stank but needed to off load them.|We checked in later that day 2 stories with narrow stairs when you are taking suit cases up |It is very dated place the room was a good size the pillows were flat and life less the 3 nights we were there the room gets hot but the air con is very loud to use the room you here the traffic and other noise it loud|The bed was a good size and was comfortable but the pillows did not help|There was a kettle but no tea of coffee to go with that bring your own. They supplied a fridge and linen missed out on a floor mat on of the days|The area is dirty on the streets but had a lot in walking distance...
