ELLE NAILS SPA — Local services in Los Angeles

Leaving a review about two weeks after getting a dip powder manicure with gel x extensions. Without fail, every single nail has came off painfully, showing me that there was an huge error in how they were prepared and installed. They are absolutely gorilla glued insanely tight to the top part of my nails, meaning that they will loosen from the bottom (as nails normally do once a few weeks pass), but because they weren’t installed properly, they are overly glued to the top of my nail, making it insanely painful for them to come off. I either have to yank it off and sacrifice ripping off my real nail, or have it half way lifted (which only causes more pain because they get caught on things and will rip away at my real nail anyway).

On top of this, they branded themselves to me as a spa with quality service and affordable prices, but when I got my nails actually done, they were insanely crooked and misshaped, and just looked unprofessional for the price to be just about $5 cheaper than my favorite luxury spa that give quality service.

Don’t go here! Spend the extra few dollars and find a nice place that won’t leave you with bloody nail stubs that’ll take weeks...

I’ve never been so happy with my nails! Soooo much attention to detail, they really take their time to make sure the job is done right. The owner is so talented and sweet! It seems they usually only have 3-4 nail techs working, so sometimes there is a wait and techs often have to multitask. So it sometimes takes a little longer than other salons, but they are always working so hard and NEVER rush to finish. 100% worth the bit of extra time for the quality...

Absolutely the worse place I’ve ever been to. Didn’t have the idea to switch his gloves he used from a different client. The man burned me a couple times with the electric filer and when I said to switch to another person he got mad and laughed. After that happened he kept talking in his language when he wasn’t before at all. Very rude.very unsanitary.not professional at all and to top it all off they were poorly made.Will never...
