On Maritime Records — Local services in Los Angeles

Customer is never right. I purchased an expensive album ($125) and it turns out it was a bootleg copy. It wasn't labeled as such. When I messaged through instagram and spoke to employee or owner on the phone, I was met with a lot of hostility and 'blame' as the buyer for not knowing my stuff. I was told there was a listening station in house and that I should have listened to the record. What does that have to do with the item being bootleg? I was not offered a return and the lack of resolution is unsatisfactory. I love supporting independent record stores but I will never shop at On Maritime...

Amazing HOUSE selection. I’ve been to record stores all over NELA, and no one has a house selection as big as On Maritime, if at all! I’m building up my house selection ant home, and Andrew always picks out the best records for me to try out. He always asks what my taste is, and finds records that match my vibe. Never disappointed! Took my niece for her birthday yesterday to collect some records. It's a really cool record shop with some really great vinyl I almost was willing to spend my whole paycheck cuz I found a lot of stuff I was looking for.
