Buyer beware: I never received essential (not decorative) sofa cushions that I paid for. I have never had such a shocking customer service experience in my life. I spent $2,300 on a sleeper-sectional. When it arrived it was not was I had ordered. I contacted funky sofa, but only ever received their answering service. Getting rather desperate I left multiple emails asking them to please get in contact with me. Jack Barton, the sales rep who had sold me the sectional on the phone a few months prior, finally got in contact with me and said that he would send me a cushion for the chaise so that the sectional would be slightly closer to what I had tried to purchase. This was a compromise, but I was so relieved that someone had finally gotten in touch with me at all, that I was grateful and didn't give it another thought. A month later nothing arrived. I sent him a polite note asking when he expected it to ship. Nothing. He had outright lied to me. Told me he would send it, put on a good show, asked me for measurements for the back of the chaise. Nothing ever came and I never heard from him or anyone at the company again. I have dozens of email correspondence with the company asking them where my package is, where is the chaise cushion that I have been expecting for over 6 months now - and no one has ever gotten in touch! It is so ridiculous that it sounds unbelievable, but please be warned. Do not purchase anything over the phone or online from this company. Perhaps if you live in California and can pick up something from the showroom then you may be safe, but do not trust them to send you what you pay for. I had spent months searching for the perfect sofa and spent a great deal of money on what I thought would be a wonderful addition to my apartment. I am so disappointed.

Read moreI ordered Manhattan sectional sofa and four 360 loungers on July 12, and they were delivered second week of September. I paid, I believe $40 extra on the couch and $40 apiece for each of 2 of the loungers, for "chrome legs" which did not appear chrome, but plastic with silver paint over them. Also, the loungers did not even have legs on them, so why I could even pay extra for chrome legs, I am not sure. I ended up taking off the legs that came on the furniture and purchasing new legs to put on. Also, the couches and chairs were very low to the ground, so that I was afraid my parents and grandparents wouldn't be able to get out of them, so another reason for putting higher legs on all the furniture. On the positive, all pieces are comfy and unique. My husband thinks the Manhattan sectional in silver leatherette looks cheap. I liked it, though several threads are hanging off on the seams. As well, there are black zippers on all the pillows, which doesn't look that nice. I don't know why zippers couldn't be better hid or matched to the fabric. The canary yellow microfiber loungers also look nice, and no threads hanging loose on those, but still has the black zippers on the pillows. Also, beware that delivery does not include inside delivery, and when I asked the delivery company if I could pay extra to arrange for inside delivery, they told me the manufacturing company...
Read moreI just received my sofa and armchair from Funky Sofa and I LOVE THEM!!! I searched high and low to find some "fun" furniture to replace my bright blue sofa and chair that wore out. I also needed to find something that was small enough to fit my living room, and made of fabrics that were at least somewhat resistant to pet hair and nails. As if that wasn't enough to ask, I also wanted to find some bright colors/fun prints that could work with my wild-colored walls. AND I needed it to be affordable!
After weeks of searching locally and online the obvious choice was Funky Sofa. I ordered the Marilyn sofa in purple microsuede, and the Desilu chair in wild pony. The customer service (Sherri) was great and responsive and gave me suggestions for fabrics and matching pillows, and they even put up with me paying with about 5 different gift cards. They also held up the order for me so it wouldn't arrive until I got back from a trip.
Now it's here and I'm so happy with it! Just be aware that if you order the Silver Touch delivery service (I think it's called) they only bring the boxes into your room and put them where you want them--they don't unpack them. And make sure your doorways can accommodate the size of the box, which is quite a bit bigger than the furniture itself.
