1.Telephone number on website has no one manning their lines, leave a voicemail any and all options you may press. 2. "Affirm" partnership is a joke of company. I have 800 plus credit score and only gave me $500 to spend on a couch that costs $2000. Good luck getting an actual person to help you at Affirm to correct the situation.3.When placing an order manually with a sales rep, if they should make a mistake of "ship to" vs. "bill to" with your credit card or any other little mistakes, you should cancel order and reorder, otherwise their interface between the POS (point of sales software) for the sales reps to their online website where customers can see their orders are not combined (their seems to be a lag in the website to retrieve the most current updated information, therefore if there was any mistake upon keystroke entry from your Interior Define sales rep, your order on their website will reflect the incorrect information. Plus you'll never actually receive an apology for any mistakes that an ID representative may make. Their products are really beautiful, they reflect modern living aesthetics and not your mom and dad's "marshmallow" couch, however I don't know if waiting for a couch for 5-6 months after you've paid for it in full amount upfront is worth it. If you have good credit 725 scores or higher, I would use Affirm to make your payments with zero percent interest while your couch is being built. (Don't make the same mistake as I did, you must "unfreeze" each credit bureaus if you want to be fully financed even though Affirm states that its a "soft" hit on your credit report using only the last four digits of your social security number, they will not authorize the full amount and if they've already authorized partial amount it is extremely difficult to get anyone to assist you at Affirm in resolving your issue. You just have to let it go. Overall, I think ID can use a bit more professionalism and detail oriented people on their staff. Staff members working from home and not having proper communication equipment when speaking to customers over their laptops can sound like a person in a tunnel, perhaps its a reflection of the top down management. I would have given them no stars if there were such a button. I guess I'll go back to ordering my couch from Westelm, similar couch, better customer...
Read moreDO NOT BUY. All this company wants is your money. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I've experienced ever. We ordered swatches and received 2 correct swatches out of 10. I called to get the rest, the representative said they would expedite the swatches which was a lie it actually took a little longer to get them. Once we picked the material it took them longer than a week for them to get back to me after trying to email them to message them and call they all gave me the run around. It's impossible to get a person to talk to and when you do they give false information.
Once I got a person on the live message I was told I would get an Email in 30 min from the supervisor Angela. I never received and email from her but received an email from Hanniel hours later. This person said they would help and to give them my phone number and a time to call.
After WAITING 4 DAYS I sent another email and didn't get a response until the next day. I needed a modification so they said they needed to cancel the order and place another one and they said they would take care of it that day. I asked for the total.
I DIDNT GET A RESPONSE I checked the website to see if my order was updated and it hadnt so I joined the live chat and after talking to a representative about my issue I asked to talk to the supervisor to get my order canceled then THIS REPRESENTATIVE SIGNED OFF.
The next day Hanniel said they had to cancel the order and place a new one. At that point I was done dealing with them and couldn't belive I was talking to the same person and THEY SAID THE SAME THING that they needed to cancel and place a new order when THEY HAD SAID THEY HAD DONE THAT the day before. I just told them to cancel the order.
ONCE I SAID CANCEL MY ORDER again I received a call from the supervisor Angela 30 min later saying she noticed I canceled my order and wanted to talk about it. They DIDNT CANCEL MY ORDER ON TIME and I was charged interest on my credit card. After dealing with them for more than 3 weeks. All I got was TIME AND MONEY LOST.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY ARE THE WORST. CHECK REVIEWS...
Read moreLove my new couch so much! I went to the studio in LA back in early summer. Rachel was amazing to work with. She has great advice and was super patient as well. We had a lot of fun looking at the fabrics and testing out all the cushions. I wasn’t 100% on what I wanted at that point but after spending several more hours testing other couches in the future district I knew Interior Define had to be the one.
Delivery went incredibly smooth too! Yes it takes forever to be made and ship you’re getting a real investment piece of furniture. The local warehouse and delivery was really on top of things and notified me of delivery dates before Interior Define did. All said it took about 2 weeks less than the original delivery estimate from ID.
The couch itself is amazing. I got a “vintage” performance velvet. Let me just say, my dogs have terrier hair. This is the kind of dog hair that causes splinters in your feet and is an impossibility to keep up with. It can weave into fabrics. It literally just brushes off this performance fabric! Only their soft more cat like undercoat sticks but that’s easy to vacuum or lint roll up. I also love all the custom elements I chose like the cushion density and extra seat depth.
This couch was a bit out of my price range even with the sale going at the time but knowing it’s made just for me and the lifestyle of someone with dogs AND will stand the test of time including moving in the future, it’s completely worth it.
Thank you...
