TLDR : Memorable stay, Nice Staff & Most importantly, THIS IS THE PLACE you want to stay if you wanted to be treated like a human being not just a "random" guest/customer.
I picked this hotel just because the location, we were planning on to go on Tour and we want to stay in between places. I didn't expect much, however based on hotels.com where I found this place showing very positive reviews, so without looking at another place and comparing, I immediately ask my DH to book it for us. Another reason why I wanted to stay it’s because Park Plaza Lodge Hotel remind me of ArTotel Jakarta. The interior is modern and chic, just like my husband and I both like. The staff always wear mask, it’s a plus for me. It means, they do care about others! It reminds me home and I feel like home. The staff were given us five stars service and most importantly we can tell, they sincerely welcome each guests. Mrs. Ruby, Ms. Diana and Mr. Eddy were always attentive, greets every guest in and out, they also constantly sanitize the receptionist area and every time she touches something she immediately sanitize her hands. I feel safe! Also, I noticed that whoever on a shift during that they, they are all hard worker and always greet us with smile. ALWAYS!!! Despite they still have renovation, they manage to keep everything clean and organized. The owner/management was truly remarkable! They wanted to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. I had a tiny little concern which actually nothing to do with the accommodations or anything, but Melissa took her time to listen and immediately taking care of me and she didn’t have to but she did. Let just say this, I’m just a “random guest” but she treated us like we are VIP guest. She shown me what an incredible person she was, she wasn’t just for the business but she do care and sincere. She treated every guest like they are VIP and they are in a five star hotel! I felt special because they treat us like we are special. By the way, my husband who rarely leave a review, I saw him wrote one on hotels.com 😊 He must been feel special as well! I decide to write my own review here because I also have my own opinion lol and most importantly, I wanted to express my gratitude and how memorable my trip was, especially meeting Melissa and Bill ( from the restaurant ). Melissa, I’m not sure if you are reading the reviews on Google, but I want to let you know, you are an incredible person. You are so inspiring and powerful, yet you are so strong but you are kind and remain humble and down to earth. A truly role model for younger ladies out there! You are special and I guess that’s why you treat every guest special. You touched my soul and I can only pay it forward by recommend your Park Plaza Lodge Hotel and @ttitude restaurants to others. May God Bless you and always protect you! xoxo
PS : The restaurant ( it’s called @TTITUDE ) is worth trying. Hello Bill and Sofia! We went there two days in a row for brunch! Delicious food, excellent customer service! You don’t have to stay in the hotel if you want to try it. They have nice patio outside if you prefer outdoor setting and the inside also chic and gorgeous modern setting. Please try their Brioche french toast,...
Read moreWe were really pleased with our stay here. Matt on reception when we checked in was so lovely and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The free parking is a huge plus and it is in a great location. Great size mini fridge in the room and an easy to use safe. The hairdryer in the room didnt work however reception quickly replaced this for us with no issue. Please don't let previous reviews of the back alley way for parking put you off, yes some of the spaces are abit tight but we never felt unsafe when arriving back and parking there late at night/early hrs of the morning. There is parking for 6 cars at the front of the hotel however if these are full you'll need to go round the back to park. ||The only downside is the way the shower has been designed - the shower/bathroom is lovely however the design of the shower is awful as the water pools on the lip of the shower and then seeps down onto the bathroom floor/bath mat. It didnt bother us so much after a day or so but our trip was 7 days and it just became frustrating and made the bathroom floor very slippy/dangerous. Everyday we needed fresh towels as we'd be ringing water out of the bath mat after 2 of us showered in the morning. It needs either an internal shower curtain or the shower screen removing and putting inside the shower before the lip or a fully closable water tight shower screen. ||Other than that, the tv in the room was huge, the beds were super comfy and our room was right by the pool...
Read moreBooked this place as had free parking and near Larchmont Village.||Arrived late in the evening and shown room. Straight away realised it is a revamped MOTEL (where you have doors on outside walkway). Rooms were clean but I think 3/5 is reasonable however if I knew it was a motel I would not have booked it.||PROS :|- Staff very helpful and polite|- Rooms clean although had to prompt front desk to have floors wiped and bed sheets changed after 4 days of not being done|- free parking although cramped and sometimes had to park in the Thai car park next door|- near Larchmont Village, 5-10 minute drive|- near the Grove shopping area, 5-10 min walk.|- very central for tourist places|- checkin and checkut process good and quick||CONS :|- had to prompt for room floor to be cleaned and bed sheets to be changed after 4 days of not being done|- car park space is cramped but you can park there. I did get a bumper scuff whilst parked there|- it is a motel and I believe this hotel representation on web sites hides this. The doors are on the outside for most of the rooms and outside of the door is exposed to the outside. |- motel is on a busy cross road intersection. Buses, loud revving cars, loud music etc. Windows are thin and also because outside the room is open to the air it does not help to block the noise|- small ants in bathroom|- slight mold in shower|- 1 morning no hot water in shower working, had to have...
