However Mike and Julio were very friendly, professional, and helpful from start to finish, and I ended up walking out with an en even better deal than I couldâve imagined to refurbish my living room, kitchen AND bedroom. They are very explanatory on your options from furniture and options on payment depending on your credit. They even make very helpful suggestions if youâre unsure how to pick your furniture setting to match your homeâs style best. I wasnât sure Iâd be able to refurbish my place in time before the holiday season but with Mike and Julioâs help, we can invite family over and have a wonderful holiday season in our new home! From the moment we stepped inside, we couldnât help but notice the odd and uninviting looks from the staff. It felt as if our presence was an inconvenience to them. As we made our way upstairs to look at the furniture, the atmosphere only grew more uncomfortable.
One of the employees glanced at the security cameras and then quietly spoke to his coworker, who then proceeded to follow us. This was done in a manner that made it obvious they were suspicious of us for some reason. We received more unpleasant looks, which made us feel singled out and uneasy.
Itâs disappointing to visit a store and feel judged or unwelcome, especially when youâre there to make a potential purchase. We expected a friendly and helpful shopping experience but were instead left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. This experience has made us reconsider ever returning...
   Read moreBought a bed from their Northridge store. A day before delivery date we got a call indicating the bed was no longer available. No apologies. Julio asked if we could go to the Van Nuys location to look at different beds. We did not find anything we liked. Julio was very defensive and again never apologized. We asked for our money back and he told us we had to meet him at the Northridge store with the card we used. He wanted to meet at 10am but we told him we could only meet at 9am. He said no and we asked why. His response was "I have a life" although we took a day off on scheduled delivery day and took time to go to other showroom. Julio said only he could refund the money. Filing dispute with our credit card company. Will never go back to LA Furniture Center. Unfortunately because we had a previous great experience with Mike, who is no longer with the company...
