Every time I go there is a problem but today it was ridiculous. I first arrived and noticed that the pan dulce, conchas, were being sorted. I thought they were adding more to the mix no, the worker was taking some of the empty trays. Naturally I looked for the flavor I like but there were none I asked the worker as she was taking the trays “do you not have chocolate conchas” SHE IGNORED ME. I left it alone I went to go buy some concha’s and everything went smoothly until as I was getting in my car I remembered I forgot to get water for me and my children. I usually order two cups of water due to them needed it went eating the bread. I went back inside quickly to ask for two cups of water. There were a total of four works gossiping and when I got their attention the blond hair exaggerated makeup worker gave me a nasty look. I ignored it and asked for two cups of water one of the other workers was about to give them to me but stopped due to the blonde telling me I could only get ONE cup of water. I told her oh but I just bought something why are you limiting my cups it’s a really hot day and my kids need the water. No that’s what she said doesn’t matter. She acts like I haven’t been there and have asked for two cups of water before. I know it’ll sound cliche but if I could give it a zero...

Super helpful staff. They made sure I knew what I was ordering, and double checked the receipt with me to make sure I knew the cost. I think they thought I was confused between taco and tamale after I ordered 6 pork & 6 rayas tamales after ordering the Pierna Adobada torta.

Their tortas are amazing. Aguas frescas always a good call (got the Horchata this time). Pork tamale good, but a little spicy (wanted chicken but they were out). Had to look up what rayas tamale was. It's a creamy roasted poblano pepper and it's freaking delicious.

The torta was huge. I've got a decent appetite and half of one filled me up. I had the other half the next day for lunch and it was still pretty good reheated. I could've finished it in one sitting if I skipped the Horchata, maybe. But I would've had to take a post lunch nap.

Had rayas tamale for dinner, reheated in microwave (I know, sacrilege) still great. Tonight I had the pork, reheated in the cast iron skillet for the first time ever to try something new. Not bad. I usually steam, but the skillet method isn't bad.

Staff was super friendly and taught me a little Spanish too while waiting. Definitely recommend this place if you're...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gallo Giro, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, Jocelyn's service was nothing short of exceptional. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She took the time to recommend dishes based on my preferences and made me feel right at home. As for the food, the quality was top-notch. Each dish was prepared with fresh ingredients, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste was clear in every bite. It’s evident that Gallo Giro takes great pride in both its service and food, and Jocelyn truly enhanced the experience with her professionalism and genuine care. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious food paired with outstanding service. Thanks again, Jocelyn, for making my visit memorable! I'll definitely be back!

Today this morning my family went to buy bread for breakfast and when we came home I was eating my bread and saw some black specs in my bread , because some of the other sweet breads they sell contain specs of cinnamon I assumed it was cinnamon and I continued to eat and found even more black specs. I turned my flashlight on and realized IT WAS A ROACH MIXED INTO MY BREAD ! I took all of the bread back to Gallo Giro to talk to the manager Maria and she told me that gallo giro supposedly dose not make the bread there but that they get the bread from a “factory” that makes the bread! She even said that it was cinnamon but it is very clear that was not cinnamon ! You can clearly see the legs from the roach! DO NOT EAT HERE !! I ate half of the bread before noticing it was a roach mixed in my bread and not cinnamon !
