I stepped in for some quick shopping with my mother. Right when we were about to head in the line the manager approaches us and said we had to leave and accused us of assaulting another customer. Said we threatened to beat her up if she didn't leave the store. Whoever accused us left the scene and left me and my mom to deal with the mess with the manager. When we told the manager she was wrongfully accusing us she didn't even know what to say anymore still insisting we had to leave. We told her to check the security footage because we were not going to leave with her believing we were some kind of criminals. Manager returns after checking the footage and apologized realizing we were telling the truth. We told her that it was very unprofessional of her to just kick out two customers minding their business before getting her facts straight first. My mom has a history of anxiety attacks and having this lady come up to us accusing her of something she had never done ruined her for the rest of the day. We will never be returning to...
Read moreThe only reason this store is getting two stars is because the staff does the best they can. They are always a mess and under staffed and never have enough registers open. The excuse is always the same staff is on break which is BS, I left the store twise at peak times where they had at least 40 people in line with 2 registers helping returns and Jewelry. When I came at 11:30 pm the there was definitely less people in line but less staff the person in charge definitely overwhelmed with clients who were getting upset and frustrated. Yes it's Panorama City, not Encino but come on Ross Management can do better then this. Actually I believe it goes higher then Management. So I much rather pay, more then less just because of the mess this store always has they cant seem to keep up. So yes I am one of those frustrated shopping members which will Boycott Ross in the future due to my recent visits to this store. Hopefully someone cares enough to make it turn around or the store will suffer the loss of...
Read moreThis Ross location is large and it is packed with a whole lot of merchandise. Though, because of the time of year, a lot of the "departments" are depleted. Like the men's shoes, most of them my size (9 1/2) were gone. The employee I asked for help was not only friendly but very helpful as well. The rows of between the merchandise are very narrow. They only allow one person with a cart at a time. So, most people leave their carts in the main pathways. I wouldn't mind if people wouldn't leave their carts in the middle of the way. Make sure that you have the time to hunt for what you're looking for because, even though the employees try to keep everything organized, the customers are really messy. I even took the time to fix the whole aisle of shoes where I was looking. And then moved on to the next one to look for a pair that would work for me. I only walked through that one and went back to the other aisle and it was a mess already. People can...
