This store had no service at all in the cosmetic section. I had several items I needed, all of them behind locked glass. I stopped by numerous times during my shopping, but no one was ever in the department. I asked the one store employee I came across if they could send someone. Either he was too busy to get off his phone or he didn't speak enough English to understand my question.
The rest of my shopping went just about as well. I was able to get help upstairs in the electronics department. They opened the glass doors, I picked out my items and then the girl said she would take my items downstairs to register 2. Ok, sounded great. Until I got downstairs. Register 2 was closed, and my items couldn't be found. Not even with the other "to be purchased at register" items (for other customers) all found several rows down, near the self checkout.
The store is large, 2 stories, with escalators available. I put my shopping cart onto the cart side and voila. Upstairs shopping. When I was done and ready to go back downstairs, the cart side to the escalators wasn't working. They had put up a barricade on the top floor but not the bottom floor. So, I had to leave my cart, haul all my items downstairs to the front door to get another cart. (Come to find out later that they also have an elevator. Didn't know about that, would've been nice of them to mention that tidbit of information. Maybe with that closed barricade sign, just a little friendly notice that the ELEVATORS ARE THAT WAY. Someone who isn't familiar with this store, like myself, would have no way of knowing about the elevator.)
And finally, like I mentioned earlier, this is not a small store. But, unlike every other Walmart, this one did not have its own bakery. Not that I noticed anyway. So, yet again, more items on my list I was unable to purchase. They had a few things, some fresh cookies. But, not what I was expecting. It seemed that way in every aisle. Things that I expected to find, items readily available in every other Walmart I've been to, not in this one. Parking was ok, nice large lot. Plenty of spaces. I did have to walk a bit, no problem. But, the lot was filthy, lots of litter.
Well, that was my experience. Not the best one, but not the worst either. Just not planning my next trip...
Read moreIf zero stars were possible that's what I will leave. I came here 4/30 an hour before closing to make sure my items were there so I can order online. Couldn't find my card but I still have apple play but Walmart doesn't take it. So I was like no problem order it online I'll be back tomorrow to pick it up before work. Because the item were a white button up long sleeve shirt and sports bra and some Hanes brief. I asked 2 workers if I buy it now can I just take it since I'm already here and they said yea. Again 2 different workers said yes. I'm like perfect I buy the things online and that's when I was told by the person who checks the receipt that that wasn't allowed. And of course the 2 workers are no where to be found. I asked to speak to a manager because again 2 employees gave me the go ahead and that's why I bought it. Manager tells me that can't be done. I'm like ok a little annoyed but no problem I'll come back tomorrow morning before work to grab them. Except come today I receive a text and email saying 2 out of the 3 items were not available. The sports bra and the most important my work shirt. So I go before my pick up time go to the shirt section and sure enough there it was. My shirt and more than 1. So I grabbed it asked to speak to a manager or whoever is in charge of picking and told them how I came last night a little before closing and my items were there and how I'm here and my items are still there but who ever had my order put not available. They said since the picker already put order complete that they can't give me the shirt even though it's right in my hand and I paid for it already and the picker messed up. So now don't have a shirt for work. Plus out some money now I have to wait for a refund. This place is garbage! Only good things were the worker who tried to help me. Customer service Joy and the two of the picker worker Chaliss who was the one trying to help and find a solution and Carmen who was also trying to answer...
Read moreI had the worst experience at my local Walmart after living nearby for 14 years. The last time I shopped I thought the young employees were bad, but today was the worst. I waited at least 10 minutes to get my item that was locked up behind glass. Usually It would take about 5 minutes. To top it off there were several customers, I counted about 10 including me, that were also waiting or have waited for a lengthy amount of time. Someone even mentioned they were waiting 20 minutes. The woman that was helping customers when I got there disappeared before waiting for 2 other different employees with keys to arrive.
What makes matters worse, this particular Walmart has some of the most rude customers ever. They either give you bad looks or walk around with negative energy. Lately the employees have gotten younger and dumber as well. I highly recommend visiting the Walmart in Burbank where none of the basic essentials are locked up behind glass. And the customers are nicer and full of positive energy. The employees are mildly better.
The ONLY employee I praise and love to interact with at the Walmart in Panorama City is the British guy who never has bad customer service and is always full of energy. If you visit you can't miss him. He has a strong British accent and flies the British flag in his attire sometimes. I told him today when he helped me out that this wasn't his fault and to keep up the good work. đŹđ§đđœ
Everything getting locked up behind glass at retail stores in Panorama City is the result of how you vote in local elections. When you end up feeling sorry for drug addicts who are free to steal what ever they want, the result is you wait longer and end up paying more for what you need for things that were cheaper in 2020 and before. I don't recommend shopping in Panorama City overall anymore unless you are here to support small business restaurants. There are drug addicts and criminals walking all over the place and it keeps...
