Well if I can give a lower I would especially calling better business bureau because the practices at this store are suspect the way they handle game’s coming in there’s no tracking to show which games received not only was my autistic son went taken advantage but his mother wasn’t in the store but had an adult that wasn’t legal guardian call his mom to get permission over the phone which is bad practice and not only can’t trace what games that are being traded in especially with the amount of theft this store encourages and takes advantage of it’s customers and there special needs because someone professional will not had taken that kids trade knowing no legal guardianship was there in the store and the child was 18
I am doing another review because my son went back because he is a die hard gamer so the owner decided to take it out on my son because I gave a bad review I guess because there was some truth what I had spoken so take it out on a child with special needs you not only took advantage of him not you break his heart on gaming turn his business away just for a bad and honest review you store should be boycotted for dishonest business and turning away a child i could understand if I walked in there yes with all respect I will understand you don’t want my services but to turn a child away you guys are embarrassment to...
Read moreI was running errands and noticed a new video game store popped up in my area, and to my surprise... it's the best video game store i've ever been to.
I was immediately greeted as I walked in to the shop and I have to say i've never felt so welcomed at a video game store. The sales associate are very friendly and are very well informed of the video game world. I was ecstatic to see the wide variety of video game consoles and games. I literally felt like I took a time machine back to my youth, as I was hit with immense feelings of nostalgia.
To my surprise they had the exact video games i've been hunting for and at the sales counter they informed me that they actually buy used video games, and they have vendors who they actually rent their video game cabinets to. Not only was I buying my particular video game from a vendor but I can actually trace who i'm buying these games from as they have short bio's and photos of the person who you are directly buying from.
I am pleased to say that i'm going to be a frequent customer at LA Video Games, but i'm so grateful that the San Fernando Valley has finally received the video game store it so desperately needed.
Thanks LA...
Read moreI like to consider myself a retro video game collector, always trying to add to my collection that I've had since I was a kid. However, I'm from upstate New York and it's safe to say that stores like this are scarce in the North East. I came out to visit a friend in North Hollywood and visiting games stores out here was on my to do list. After visiting four other stores we happened upon LA video games and I was in shock when I walked in. Super clean and organized with an amazing inventory. I saw games here I haven't seen in stores anywhere else. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable and really cares about the business. They let other collectors rent shelves there to sell there merch or old games, something I've never seen before. You can also test out games before buying. I highly recommend this store and with I...
