My girlfriend and I decided to choose a new place to eat sushi. We checked what was cheap and had good reviews. This place came up. First off, when we walked in we were greeted by the chefs but we weren't greeted by the expediters. Finally, after about 10 minutes or so, we were finally greeted and told that the table was ready. It was a Friday night so we were prepared to wait. However, the wait time for everything we ordered was extremely long. It seemed that there were only two people working as servers. We waited for about 15 minutes for water and 45 minutes to get our food. We stayed because the place was busy and we really wanted to see if the sushi was good since so many people kept coming in. We got the salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempora, and one roll that had jalapeños and cream cheese (forgot the name, see pics). The food was mediocre, to best describe it, it tasted like the sushi you buy at a grocery store. Definitely not worth the wait at all and the prices are outrageous. I do not recommend going here for sushi rolls or when they are busy. I would rather go to Cho Cho San or Love Sushi any day over this place. 1 star for wait...

Because the rolls are covered up with so much wrappings, sauce, and all that, many customers would tend to think that it tastes good. But if you actually eat the fish itself in it's purest form, you'll see that this place is...
Read moreHave been eating here for 7 years now -it is our favorite go to place when we have friends or family visiting from out of town, or a celebration. The staff has always given us something for free- sake, mochi, or an extra roll. I dislike fish, but decided to give it a go here. I am hooked! Pun intended!
The food has always been fresh, and the prices are better than you would find at most places. It is never very crowded, except for Friday and Saturday nights. Everyone we bring to Sumo Sushi- even from other countries say the food is better than average.
It's the best kept secret...
