It’s a cute little place, depending on the day the women can either treat you nicely or rudely. Also depends if you are a female or a male. “Treated me disgusting compared to my husband”. I haven’t tried anything other than their baleadas as a Hondureña myself I know a good baleada when I see it. This one is not very good, beans are salty and tasteless. The tortilla is not soft a buttery. I’m pretty sure their beans are canned beans and that’s not authentic at all. 3 times we gave them a chance but I’m better off making them at home. We stopped by here for lunch while waiting for our car to be serviced, and it was excellent. They do a great job managing expectations—very clear signage that their food takes a wait. But wow, it was well worth the wait. Simple but high quality, and very authentic. Recommend the plantains for sure. The corn tortillas were homemade and very fresh and hot. I hate to write this, because the food was delicious... but the service was AWFUL. I don't know whether our server wasn't paying attention or was actively ignoring us, but after taking our order, the woman acted like we didn't exist. Our food took a long time to be served, while tables that came in and ordered after we did were served much sooner.
