Here's why I am giving 3 instead of 5 stars:
Overall, our unit is very nice. It's comfortable and has all the appliances we need for daily living. Our dog seems to like it too.
We like the oversized patio and are thankful for the double-paned windows.
We wish our unit contained a larger washer/dryer combo instead of what was provided to us as the washer tub is not large enough to accommodate a load of laundry thereby necessitating us to do several loads. Also, where the laundry "closet" is should have been built as a linen closet since our unit does not have one; thus, we had to find another way to store our linens and towels. The builder should have provided not only a laundry area (it could have been situated outside the patio thereby giving us a linen closet). We also wish the water pressure in our shower was more powerful; while we appreciate having a water-saving device, it still would be nice to enjoy a more powerful spray when showering.
Too many tenants in the building are inconsiderate by not driving appropriately -- creating illegal parking spaces that make it difficult to maneuver around and they believe that by merely putting on their blinkers makes everything OK but it doesn't. Another thing some of the tenants do is propping the rear gate open by the swimming pool because they're too lazy to utilize their fobs thereby making it very easy for non-tenants to enter the building. Also, some tenants allow their dogs to urinate in both elevators leaving a pool of smelly urine and sometimes, when tenants swim, they don't wipe themselves off before entering the elevator which can cause someone to trip in the pools of water left inside the elevators.
Occasionally, there are times when some tenants lack respect to other tenants especially if they possess large animals that are intimidating -- especially to elderly tenants and those who own smaller animals. This is unacceptable and there needs to be some kind of resolution by either a written warning to the offending tenant or have them evicted.
Finally, we do not understand why the owner has placed restrictions on what is acceptable and not acceptable on tenants' patios and front doors. We have never faced this quagmire before and thus cannot comprehend why the owner is so adamant about not having decorations on the front doors or having items other than houseplants on the patios. It is very strange and very odd to have that freedom eliminated.
On a more kinder note, property manager Elizabeth Alvarez is a nice person. Albeit she is rather young, she maintains professionalism at all times and is personable. We wish she would return phone calls and emails more promptly as we become concerned when we don't receive a response. We understand her job as the property manager is cumbersome but first and foremost, her position is one of customer service. Elizabeth Definitely must be paid reviews because we’ve been here quite a few years and let me tell you I have phone records that can tell you she does not return phone calls multiple times I’ve tried to reach out to her and she has not returned my calls back and she also is a liar when I mentioned this to her she tried to flip it and say that she has tried multiple times to reach me but when I mentioned that I can show her my phone call log she never emailed me back I wonder why is it because I have proof or is it cause she’s just lying? she is very snotty and for sure, be careful because she lies and when you submit paperwork that you need maintenance she also takes forever now the old manager they should definitely bring her back. They should’ve never got rid of her. I never had a problem with her at all. If I were to call the old manager, she would call me back that same day for three years I doubt with the old manager and she was always on top of anything we need .she was amazing and that is 100% the truth instead of posting these fake reviews of the new manager those are lies The new manager hasn’t even fixed the lighting from the hallways outside, they’ve been not working for quite a few months. Read moreOur apartment is very nice. Repairs are made within a reasonable time. Some nights there is a lot of noise in the courtyard after 11pm because people tend to get very loud when they are drinking and the acoustics amplify the noise. We appreciate the double pane windows as they block the sound, but sometimes we need air inside. Perhaps a reminder to tenants that they are in a community setting and please try to keep the noise down after 10:pm. Or take the gathering indoors. Some tenants have very large dogs and are disrespectful to others trying to use the elevators or walking in the corridors. I have never seen an apartment allowing dogs over 50 lbs. dogs that size need a yard and become aggressive when pent up. They are intimidating to the smaller dogs. Also residents do not clean up after their dogs in the “dog park” area. It smells horrible and is disgusting to look at.. we won’t even take our dog in there. Most of the feces appear to be from large dogs. I thought Le Blanc had all dogs dna on file, but people seem to feel there is no consequence for ignoring this rule. Perhaps if it was actually enforced rather than sending out general reminders the rule would be taken seriously. this has been a constant problem that never improves no matter how many warnings you send out.
