I’ll start with the bottom line… definitely worth a visit!
Was out doing some shopping and decided to stop in since it was convenient. I was somewhat confused by exactly what this place was. It gave off the sports bar vibe, but closed early Saturday nights. It had great breakfast and lunch options, but looked more like a bar than a breakfast cafe. So, it was somewhat doubtful about the food quality. I shouldn’t have been, the food was great! So was the service.
I had a Philly cheesesteak and sweetie had the BLTA. The beef was thin sliced and tender with generous onions, peppers and cheese. The French roll was perfectly toasted. In all, a great sandwich where it was clear that the cook took pride in his work. The BLTA was equally good. Lots of thick, crispy bacon. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, not wilted at all. A big helping of avocado. Again all the little things that add up to a perfect sandwich.
For an accidental find, I’ll add this place to my list of favorites and...
Read moreTerrible service! Literally thrown out because i didn’t drink enough! I am a woman and went to this sport to watch my NFL football tram play, and our of the blue, the owner called me to the side and demanded I and not come back because i didn’t order alcohol beverages nor ordered food every time i went there, so i was not welcome and not to come back. I had bern there several times, tipped well, and i was discriminated against as i do not drink alcohol, and ordered soda instead. No food/drink minimum purchase policy was ever relayed to me, prior. They cater to regulars, and if you are not, you are not welcome. If you live in The Valley and want to catch a sports game at a local bar and grill, go somewhere else!
Also, they closed very early once when i was there, on a Saturday evening because the staff wanted to go home, and customers that were there about 7:30pm, were unceremoniously closed out, as the staff turned over the chairs at tables while customers had...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I finally got to try BrewZ out. Wasn't very busy when we were there due to a UFC fight, they're working on getting the programming. They do have PLENTY of TVs and lots of a lot of different sports playing at one time. They have a really good selection of beers on tap, not just a bunch of IPAs, and they rotate them regularly. They have lots of the local beers, 8 One 8, and Golden Road. The pretzel was great! Good size, soft, doesn't taste like it came from a box and was microwaved like some places. Their cheese was good too, spicy but not too spicy. We also got their Philly sandwich. So good! Bun wasn't hard, the meat was tender and not too fatty, a decent mix between the meat and the onions and peppers. Kali was our bartender and she was amazing! She was so nice and friendly:) So...
