Service is always great, I just started coming for my lunch about three weeks ago. Wasn't sure it would be good because of its location, in "the sketchy" parking lot. Haha. Some people are just too conditioned to seeing cleared out parking lots. This one has a recycling center towards the front of the parking lot, which brings in a large amount of people trading in cans, bottles and such that they collected in their daily trash digging. So you can imagine how they look. However, they are harmless, I have yet to have any issues with any of the people that hoover around the lot. The restaurant itself is small. Just enough space for 20 people at 5 different tables (4 each) Doesn't have the space for large groups. As of yet I haven't seen it "dirty" as some have claimed. Cluttered yes. You have 5 people in here and the place feels packed and claustrophobic..
They did just open up a bar next store. I haven't checked out the drinks yet. (Usually at work) might update soon with a review on that. The food has been spectacular, the cook has my regular order down to a T. :) i guess I should try some other menu items and review them eventually. But for now I enjoy my taco 'tacoway' style. :) And some Pulparindots for desert. Haha. Love the real silverware. I always check for water spots or stuck on food, but have yet to find any. They do a good job at cleaning the plates and silverware.
**The one complaint I have is the restroom. I recently decided to use it rather than wait to get back to my office and found it to be the most unwelcoming, odd feeling, creepy place I have ever been. Let me explain. First the door handle autolocks. So there is no button or knob to click/turn on the inside. You just have to trust the door is locked. Walking into the room on the left is the storage. For all the hard supplies, I'm assuming for the restaurant and bar.. The sink is next to a utility sink with a semi clean mop sitting in it. The toilet looks to be surrounded by rolls of paper stacked on little shelves and cabinets. A very uncomfortable feel. Needless to say I held out until I went back to my office. The employees are all friendly. Some more than others. But that's expected at any business. Come in with a rude attitude you'll get it back . And...
Read moreIn case you have a hard time finding it, this place is not viewable from Roscoe Blvd. It's next to a 7-11 and there are a bunch of trees in front of the complex. Just follow the directions on Google. Parking is a bit tight on Taco Tuesdays but I was able to find a spot. They have various specials through the week with $1 (not $1.50 like their menu says) tacos on Tuesday and Whiskey Wednesday. When you walk in you see what looks like a lunch-time taco place. To the left and around the corner is a long bar. It's concrete. Opposite the bar are sofas. Lighting is great. They have TVs for the sports people. They serve some of the best tacos in LA (that's saying something). It's street tacos, style. Great drinks except that my margarita was too sweet for my taste. I'm a liquor on the rocks kind of girl. I tried to order a skinny margarita and bartenders didnt know what that is. Not mad about it. I loved their fixation on really good food....
Read moreThis place has some awesome food, my favorites from Tacosway is there Tacos and Mojado (Wet) burrito with Red Sauce. The burrito is packed with meat and all the fixings you really cant go wrong with this burrito. Their street tacos are amazing too and packed with meat and the best part is in Taco Tuesday they are .99cents you cant beat that. We usually order 10 tacos and split a Mojado burrito freakin bomb. They also have a nice little sauce bar to fill up on some sauces Red, Orange, Green, lime, Jalapenos, hole radishes and a few other things. We usually order Asade (Steak) Tacos and Pollo (Chicken) Burritos. If you order Uber Eats or any other delivery on Tuesday you wont get the Taco Tuesday deal, not sure why its like that but just letting you know. Location/Parking isn't in the best area in my opinion and it's really easy to miss also because it's off the...
