Radiance of Life — Local services in Los Angeles

I've been to a lot of massage establishments, and I could safely say that this is the best massage I've ever gotten. I mean it.

I asked my masseuse for very light pressure because I'm a weakling, and she obliged perfectly: she used just enough force to unwind my body while still being incredibly gentle and soft. Her touch was heavenly. I'm embarrassed to say I moaned out loud more than once.

I told the owner that they need to be charging more. All the places I frequent have inferior massages but charge 1.5 - 2x what Radiance of Life does. And for what, beautiful lobbies and cucumber water? Yes, ambience is important for a good massage - and I'm not saying Radiance of Life lacks that - but when you go to a massage, the massage should obviously be the most important factor in your satisfaction, and it feels like a lot of establishments compensate with amenities and interior design.

I personally enjoyed the environment - yes, they could do more for the ambience, like frame their pricing list instead of just printing it on paper and taping it to a wall - but it's simple and clean, and I like that they turned off the lights during our massage so that just a few candles lit up the space. I love that beautiful, relaxing glow.

The owner is sweet, cheerful, and earnest, and we talked for a few minutes after my massage was over. It made me sad to hear that COVID negatively impacted the business - it deserves much more love and attention than it gets.

I just want to say wow!!! I am visiting LA and saw Radiance of Life as I was strolling by... decided to give them a try cuz the price was great! ($45 for first time) I saw Rita and she gave me the best massage of my life! She adjusted pressure nicely when I asked her to.. she took her time with each part of my body ... she also stretched me which I'd never experienced in massage before. She used her hands and feet which was something I've never experienced before and it was incredible. When I come back to LA I'm def going to see...
