We first came to this establishment to purchase a flocked tree but then decided to ask if they would flock our tree if it was purchased elsewhere, one we established that we could we returned with our tree and stand. the person that was helping is was told take the tree to the back so that we can put our stand on the tree. I believe the person misunderstood and when I walked up with the stand , I heard a person with a loud and irritated voice ,'they have to put the stand on that treeif i do it I'll charge them as long as it takes for me to put the stand on , they have to do it , and then with a smirk I'll charge them!!! At this point a bit shock at this person's behavior (the owner ), I then told him we will put on the stand ! He walked away muttering something then comes back while we are putting the tree in the stand , and again in a harsh voice states and that netting needs.to be off!! I was done with his attitude and same time he used with me , We will have it off !! At this point he starts yelling I'm not flocking any tree for you ! Leave! So we picked up the tree with the owner still walking and yelling I'm not doing anything for you , you are gonna come here with that sass! He continued following us and muttering, I finally told him to flock off !!! I went to the woman to verify if he was the owner and she confirmed. I was surprised, and I understand that business can be refused but you need to be more professional about it ,Owner of Tapia bros. Whatever your name is ... only reason that I added a star was to write this review. Ps tree prices are doubled at Tapias brother then at other business that I have been to , I wanted a flocked tree and unfortunately the business that I purchased the tree did not...
Read moreOur family went for the first time to Tapia Brothers. I cannot express how HAPPY we all were. There is a petting zoo, with bunnies, sheep, piggies, etc. The price for that was $4 which included a cup with food for the animals. There is also a pony ride, they have about 6 of them going around and my daughter loved them. The price for the pony ride was $6, but as a parent I loved that they had a safety belt for every kid. I didn't even need to walk beside my toddler because I felt like it was very safe. Of course, there are also tons of pumpkins, a lone turkey (this guy needed a buddy), and some goats. Food wise there were different options but we chose the old american hot dog for $4.50, they were big so one filled me up. For the kids they had an area to jump and play that was $3 (only per kid). My daughter decided she liked the dark labyrinth that they have for toddlers and the shoe house. We spent 2 hours only on one side of the Farm, we didn't have time to ride the tractor ($8 per person incl/kids) or the corn maze ($3 or vice versa with tractor fee) I can't remember clearly because she didn't get to ride it. However, we will come back to this place. It is amazingly nice, fairly priced and had tons of things for kids to do. I think that if I had gone to the maze or gone on the tractor it would have added a couple more hours to our trip. Oh! And I can't forget about the nice photo booth that they set up. We loved it. Tapia Farms, we are your...
Read moreAll you need to know about this location is that I've been coming here for years at Halloween time and hardly ever buy any of the actual produce. If you have kids, it's a quick, fun little stop. They have some nice play areas for the kids with hay bales and what not. They have a bunch of animals for the kids to see and feed. There are other little displays that are kind of fun. Their pumpkins are sinfully over-priced! I wish they sold something else seasonal I could bring home like apple cider donuts or even plain old apple cider! I tend to settle for a canned drink. Their produce looks good, but isn't anything special.
I also went during Christmas and it had a nice vibe to it, but again, the trees were prohibitively expensive for what they were. Anywhere else would be much cheaper.
Long story short... take the kids to see the animals and if they have anything that catches your eye, great! Pumpkins are generally cheaper somewhere else (thought they do have a great selection of nice looking squashes). And if you'd like to take the kids somewhere like this that can keep their attention longer... go to Underwood Family Farms for hours of...
