After having lipo done I became very swollen and sore. I was told that a lymphatic drainage massage would help with the swelling so I looked for a place that offered it on Groupon, where I found Golden Health and Beauty Center. The receptionist was very friendly and the office is clean. Before the appointment you have a consultation to see what course of treatment is best for the results you are aiming to achieve. Dr. Nikaeen is very informative, and breaks down why certain methods are better for you than others, she explains to you exactly what is happening to your body and really helped me understand the healing process. She recommended Arnica oral tablets and a topical arnica gel which has helped tremendously in reducing the appearance and soreness of the bruised areas. Before we began, Dr. Nikaeen noticed that my body was hot and was concerned informing me that, that was a sign of infection so before proceeding she took a temperature of my body which to me shows observational awareness and real concern for her patients. She informed me about the different type of lymphatic massages offered, in this case since I had just had my lipo procedure done 5 days prior, I needed a hands on, manual massaging of the abdomen area, included a machine that is placed around each leg that squeezes the legs and promotes blood circulation. Also after the manual massage, Dr. Nikaeen used an ultrasound device that helps to break up tissue that’s forms together after this type of procedure. I felt so much better after my massage and ended up not even using the Groupon, but buying a package, Dr. Nikaeen was also so kind enough to work with me on the payment of my massage package, allowing me to pay half to book the package and the rest later.
