A dwindling choice of resources that fortunately is staved off somewhat by this historic (since 1969) retail electronics establishment.

I cannot even count the fingers on both hands, the enumeration of retail electronics stores that still exist - thank goodness Torrance Electronics numbers among those, saving people from having to drive to Paramount or even Orange County to pick up what is often a three or four dollar part or component.

Not only that, but the friendly and knowledgeable staff need nary more than a glance and know exactly where to locate the item in their inventory at a reasonable price that will continue to bring back return customers throughout the rest of this decade.

A truly "essential business", but moreover, a treasure trove for professionals and hobbyists alike.

I'm happy to report that #tallship awards this crucial establishment the full compliment of five (5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s without any reservation...

So much stuff here. Staff very friendly and actually helpful. Bought some wire here, which they have a ton of. Do wish they carried switchcraft guitar parts, but I don't think anyone really does. I do a lot of guitar electronics, they have a bunch of 250k pots, not split shafts, a few push pulls. A good place for spst switches, some dpdt but they were a bit too big. They do have a decent selection of knobs, a lot of the jaguar type knobs that have a screw on side, which I haven't seen anywhere else. Wish they had sliding switches, but that's a special order I'd have to get online. Would be cool if they carried more guitar electronics stuff but overall a great resource if you don't want to...

Been going to Torrance Electronics for years now. The customer service is excellent and the staff there is extremely knowledgeable- don't let the age of those young men working there fool you. Ownership and management has been stable throughout the years paying close attention to all the small details of operation. They've bailed me out on several of my projects both in terms of product and information.
