I'm writing this review on behalf of my partner who had a traumatic experience that left her in tears...

My partner gets 10mg of botox to each of her massetters occasionally to stop grinding her teeth at night. Over the year's I've been with her I can actually hear when the botox works at night. Even I could tell after her treatment that the "botox" she received had little to no effect. She called Volume Med to voice that the botox didn't seem to work and woman on the phone responded with several insulting comments like, "you're aging" (my partners in their mid 20s and "you don't know what you're talking about," when they brought up their other treatments at other clinics. They then said if she wanted a refund, she would have to come in and get a re-evaluation. When she went in, the doctor yelled at her and wouldn't even listen to my partner. She kept invalidating my partner's experiences and said she actually needed 40mg which is x4 her usual amount at other clinics. In the end, they denied her refund but offered a discount on her next treatment. Did the doctor just want her to come in to verbally berate her? Did they actually even think about offering a proper re-evaluation or even the possibility of a refund or did they just want to yell at her for leaving a negative review?!?

They also claimed all the other low ratings were fake which honestly shows how they handle any criticism. I've worked my fair share of customer service and have dealt with many insane clients but the treatment and disrespect they gave my partner was appalling.

update Seeing other reviews and even their own responses, "we use neurotoxin called Jeuveau, which is FDA-approved product manufactured by the US-based company Evolus. While it may have origin in Korea, Jeuveau is safe and effective alternative to Botox. We refer to it as Botox for easier understanding." They admit to using a different product while referring to it as botox! A simple google search of the two says that these are two similar products but with key differences. Jeaveau is a cheaper alternative good for treating wrinkles for cosmetic treatments while botox has both cosmetic AND...

DONT GO HERE! Very Unprofessional, first of all It was my first time here and I got lip filler and they made me pay before I got anything done then said oh come back in a hour after I had already paid bc apparently the injector was at lunch, weird but ok but that’s not the weirdest part. My friend and her mom came here for their filler and Botox that’s how I heard abt this place and they went the week before me so it took a min for the tox to settle I guess and she calls me when I get back into their office complaining that her Botox is messed up but I wasn’t getting Botox so it didn’t affect me but the NOSY RECEPTIONIST went and told whoever the owner is which first of all is a total violation like why is some receptionist even listening to my call like do ur job, then I get pulled into I guess the managers office like I’m in trouble or something mind u I had ALREADY PAID and she’s basically giving me shit because my friend was otp talking shit because they had messed up her Botox and I’m like this literally has nothing to do with me like why am I being pulled into this office rn at this point I just want my filler that I had alr paid for, and at one point in the conversation she was like why are u even here if u don’t like us and I’m like IVE NEVER EVEN BEEN HERE BEFORE 😭 it just made the whole process of being there very uncomfortable and weird. The receptionist should’ve never been listening to my private convo and the owner should’ve never pulled me into the office when her issue wasn’t with me it was with my friend and her mom just very unprofessional on their part. I did end up getting the lip filler because I felt like I would’ve definitely not got a refund even if no service was provided and my lips don’t look bad honestly the only thing I can say is it was more painful than anywhere else I’ve gone to get filler but...

I would not recommend coming here. I stumbled upon this place on social media & deeply regret not doing my research.

They advertise “walk in welcome” but are not properly staffed to allow walk ins, so if you do try out the place set up an appointment.

I payed for my service beforehand which is strange, every other med-spa I’ve been to administers service first then collects payment.

After paying & taking pictures, I sat in a room with numbing cream on me for almost an entire hour. No communication, no cordial “hey, we’re running behind” NOTHING, just sitting in a room wondering if they forgot I was in there.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I had already paid, I would’ve left no questions asked but I politely walked back to reception and asked if I could come back later on in the day as I had somewhere else to be within 45 minutes. The girl was polite but no sense of urgency, understanding, or respect for people’s time.

They began my treatment shortly after but the place looked filthy with random Syringes lying around from previous patients. There wasn’t even a spot in the room to set my purse down, the nurse had to move things around. 😭

My nurse was sweet but she didn’t explain to me what was being done which psyched me out even more. What sealed the deal was the terrible bed side manner-I was uncomfortable & on the verge of tears the entire treatment. I surely don’t expect for services to be a walk in the park, but at least communicate with patients what you’re doing to provide peace of mind.

Overall, I’d never recommend this place to anyone. Still can’t say whether or not my service was effective but even if it is, I’ll never go back to these people. I’d rather pay double but receive...
