Bernheim Distillery - Heaven Hill — Local services in Louisville

They make some really great bourbons but they aren’t the favorite to visit. It is a truely beautiful facility but I had issues with the fact that they are very very limited on the options of bourbons for sale at the gift shop. It’s not great that they are only open two days in the week as well. Our tasting was nice but didn’t have the personality that sold Heaven Hill like I would expect. I appreciate that they reserve some nice bourbons for sale if you do a tasting. It’s one to visit for sure but not my top choice. That spot is reserved for Buffalo Trace an hour...

We went in for a tour but they were booked. No big deal, the woman said we could to a tasting. I am tagging along as a designated driver. She tells me I’m not allowed in the room since I’m not drinking. Sorry, I would like a responsible driver not drinking and driving.
