I ordered pizza and paid for it online, before going grocery shopping. I did my shopping and went to pick up my pizza and the girls said it would be ready in a couple of minutes. There are about three door dash drivers waiting and it appeared that they had given away the wrong pizzas. She told me it would take 15 minutes to have mine remade. I told her I couldn't wait because I had groceries in the car. I said I'll just take a refund and she replied. There's no manager working and she cannot give me a refund. It escalated a little bit. I was irritated that I was leaving without food or a refund. I called the store the next day and spoke with the kitchen manager AJ. He was a pleasure to deal with and that's why I gave two stars. I emailed corporate and they did process a refund. They did not call me, no apologies. It's not a big deal, but not great customer service. The pizza is good! I've eaten it many times as I live...

Trying to order food through them and grub hub was an absolute nightmare. Our food sat in their window for an hour because the driver never showed. Called grub hub they said they’ll send a driver now. Called derby city and asked why no one informed me that it has been sitting there that long. They said it’s cold now and they won’t remake it. That I need to call grub hub back and get it sorted out. 2 1/2 hours from the time we placed the order and I can’t get a straight answer from anyone. It’s not entirely derby city’s fault the driver never showed but I believe that they have a duty to let either the end user or grub hub know that no one showed up. Also saying that we either take it cold when a driver shows up for pay for them to remake it is horrible customer service. We have a large family and was looking for a new pizza place near by. When the wife asks "You want pizza?" I always think of my favorite place for a delicious pie fixed to perfection. This night I selected the XL Champ and couldn't have been happier. I placed my order over the phone and within 15 minutes it was ready as soon as I walked in the door. These guys are amazing. 5 minutes after I picked it up I was sitting at my table chowing down on their perfect crunchy pie. A few banana peppers on my slices added to the perfection. Don't know how they get it perfect every time but who am I to ask why. I just enjoy a perfectly baked pizza every time. Best pizza in Clifton. Great attitudes, great service, great pizza.
