I am having trouble being objective about this because the donuts are so good! I like to think I have tried some of the best donuts in the world after traveling all over it. We always search for something local, and when we found Clifton, we knew we had found some place special! We kind of judge a place on their ability to make an apple fritter. I love this place for basic doughnuts! Be sure you try the old fashioned and apple fritter!

The owners are always nice and in the past they have let me bring my own clean reusable containers so I didn't use their Styrofoam. I am so grateful for their flexibility on this!

Don't leave a poor review because it wasn't what you expected: they have a limited supply of doughnuts and don't make more throughout the morning, so if you arrive after 10 am the pickings are slimmer than at 7 am. Very good donuts if you like light and fluffy donuts. Glazed donuts are extra glazed and sweet. We ordered the fritter (see below), a frosted strawberry yeast, and some donut holes. The strawberry and donut holes were light and sweet, and the strawberry tasted real and not fake.

The shop is small but the owner was very nice and very friendly. I definitely felt good about buying here.
