Taqueria Los Gorditos — Restaurant in Louisville

I was out late and wanted some tacos. Did a search around me and this place popped up. They had good reviews so I decided to give them a try. They must be renovating because when I walked in the appearance was crazy. I literally had to step over booths and chairs to get to the cashier. She was rude and got upset with me because she didn’t speak English or understand what I was ordering. That should have been the first two red flags for me to leave. But I was hungry and decided to order anyway. After I ordered and was waiting for my food to get done. I saw SEVERAL Roaches running across the area where they put toppings on the tacos. The guy putting the toppings saw them as well and just flicked them away with the same gloves on and continued to put toppings on the tacos. That’s is absolutely disgusting and this place should be shut down. I immediately asked for a refund and they refused knowing they have roaches running around the food. So I just left and disputed the charge with my bank. Please DO NOT eat here. Unless you just done care about roaches running...

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I was not impressed with the food here. Perhaps it was just an off night, not totally sure. So to start off, our chips and cheese dip did not taste fresh at all. Our tortilla chips seemed like they were straight up unsalted white corn grocery store chips from the bag, and the cheese dip was not hot and congealing as if it were old and had been sitting out. I ordered a chorizo quesadilla. There was barely any cheese whatsoever on the quesadilla, and the tortilla wasn’t sticking on either side. When I order a quesadilla I expect a well held together, hot, crunchy, cheesy bite. Instead, this was super soggy, falling apart, and bland. On top of this, the restaurant just felt kind of unclean. Maybe I simply ordered the wrong thing, but sadly I just don’t think I feel compelled to try this place again. The quality is just not worth the price unfortunately. I’m sticking to La Bamba’s chorizo quesadilla...

My fiance and I saw this place on our way home and decided to check it out. The food is amazing and the people are so sweet. We a chicken chimichanga and a chicken torta, the chicken is seasoned wonderfully to be a great combo of flavors no matter what you get. The chicken is a great combo of sweet and savory while the cheese is sweet and smooth. In addition they also give sides with different dishes and options for more sides plus sauces to go. 10/10 would and will come again. I know there's also a taco bell opening up next to it and I can definitely tell you you'll get better food for your gut and for your money's worth at this place instead (looking at you too late night stoners, this food is very filling). They've got chiminchangas, burritos, soups, sandwiches, ice cream, authentic drinks and food everywhere and they are open late. I promise you you won't regret coming here and...
