European Splendor — Local services in Louisville

I purchased a beautiful hutch from European Splendor and cannot begin to say enough good things about the product and the customer service. I live in North Carolina and had spotted this piece on the internet. It was exactly what I had been looking for. I have never purchased anything like this over the internet before and was very nervous. I contacted Matt, the owner, and he guided me through every process. He even gave me very detailed information about the piece, including some of the natural blemishes. He then sent me pictures and once I was satisfied, he helped me research all of my shipping options. I know I would not have purchased this piece if Matt had not been so kind and helpful and full of wonderful information. I now have this fantastic piece sitting in my dining room admired by all! When I stumbled upon European Splendor, I wasn't sure if ordering from a small, relatively unknown store would be a good idea. It was much, much more than a good idea - it was a great idea!

I ordered 6 bars of French soap. I expected them to be tosse dinto a shipping box and sent along to me - which would have been just fine. But instead, they arrived very carefully and beautifully wrapped (individually) in paper, with padding in between in a nice gift box tied up with decorative ribbon. All I can say is "WOW!" I never expected such careful and thoughtful packaging - especially from a store that has such outstanding prices.

From now on, I know where I'll be shopping for my French soap - as well as for other items ES has to offer. This is a first class establishment...

Tried ordering online and a notice was posted on the website asking customers to call if they experienced difficulties. Matt called me shortly after (I hadn’t even left a message!) and facilitated my order by phone. Very nice, very helpful. I asked him to delay shipping for a few days until I returned from a trip, which he did. Shipment arrived exactly as we planned and was beautifully packaged. The items I was going to use as gifts felt like a gift for me! Great dealing with this company, and it’s only an hour and a half away...
