First I can’t thank you enough for planning the most incredible trip for us. This type of trip was always #1 on my bucket list but my husband wasn’t really enthusiastic. Our friends had traveled with you a few years ago and still talk about it as being the trip of a lifetime! After reviewing your itineraries I thought this might be something my husband would also enjoy since it was such a diverse itinerary. When he agreed and our travel partners also agreed I immediately called Ntaba and spoke to Tina. Tina instantly jumped on my bandwagon of excitement and I felt completely at ease with her and knew I was in good hands! In our past travels I never allow anyone to take over handling my airline reservations but Tina made me feel extremely confident that Ntaba knew best and I completely trusted her to handle everything. She quickly made our reservations so that we could get the seating that we wanted (bulkhead). This was prior to us even sending in our paperwork so she had to do a lot of extra work gathering our information to book the flights! She is a true jewel and went way above and beyond and I would ask that you once again extend my thanks to her!
As our trip drew near I was speaking with Stella and she told me that you would not be making this trip with us; to say that I was disappointed is an understatement. My friends had spoken so highly about you “taking us “ to Africa that I didn’t feel anyone could measure up…than I met Wayne! I am typically the travel planner and organizer for our family and friends so I have exceptionally high standards and expectations and Wayne exceeded in every way! I don’t know how we could have had anyone better! Every step of our journey was executed with perfection, ease and extreme professionalism! I told him many times how incredibly thankful I was for him but I would also appreciate you once again sharing my gratitude with him!
Our accommodations everywhere were all incredible; our guide in Shiduli (Johann) was excellent and his added enthusiasm for this part of the country was contagious! We not only learned all about the animals but also the plants, ecosystem and everything about the bush! We left feeling like he was part of our family!
Victoria Fall was absolutely breathtaking and our lodging was incredible. As we walked through the markets people would see my Ntaba hat and ask where Stella and Robin were! Our only regret was that we never had a free minute to sit and enjoy the resort…we would have loved another day there to truly enjoy its beauty!
Thank you, thank you for making my dream come true and “Taking...
Read moreMy husband and I recently returned from two weeks with Ntaba to Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Arica. This was our delayed 25th anniversary trip and it was magical!
As a former travel consultant, I have high expectations when it comes to service and details. I have to say Ntaba met them all! They left no I un-dotted or T un-crossed, and it was so nice to have someone else do all the planning/work :) We were both truly impressed!
The direction and help from the very beginning was so awesome. The company's follow up and communication through out was great! I loved having the app on my phone with the daily itinerary at my fingertips and used it often!
Every flight, transfer person, guide etc. was on time and was there as outlined. Des (our personal tour guide in SA) was absolutely wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. The hotels were all wonderful. Not sure if Ntaba had a role or the hotels did on their own, but everyone truly made our anniversary trip special! From flower petals on the beds to campaign on ice, it was a lovely touch!
As fabulous as our room was at the Karongwe Lodge (and it was spectacular) we really loved the Chobe River Lodge too. Great room, by far our best meal at the sit down restaurant (buffet was OK - nice to be able to try different foods) and the entire staff came out and did some song and dance for us at the sit down restaurant our first night. Not sure what they were singing, but we are going with Happy Anniversary to You, lol
We also had wonderful game drives both on the Chobe river and by land! They seemed more authentic than in the reserve, but we saw a ton of animals on both and in their natural settings is so different than viewing at a zoo.
The Boma Drum show was a little touristy (like doing a luau on your first trip to Hawaii) but still super fun and glad we did it. The only disappointment was the cheetah encounter. I was hoping to get to hold a little one. Not worth doing in my opinion. We absolutely loved the elephant encounter, thought that was soooo cool! The falls was glorious (even in dry season) and definitely worth doing. Lunch at the Cafe Lookout fabulous and what a view!
Overall we had a truly magical trip, met some lovely people from all over the world and are so very grateful we stumbled across Ntaba to book our trip. "Thank You" for making it everything we hoped for!
I have been telling everyone about how amazing the sunrise and sunsets are and there is no way to capture it on film. MUST...
Read moreMy wife and I heard about Ntaba through a friend, so we went to them for the planning of our Honeymoon. We worked with Stella and Robin who were amazing every step of the way from the planning process, to the booking process, to being available during the actual trip. United Airlines cancelled our original flight from Newark to Johannesburg, which created a domino effect on our whole trip (intra-Africa flights, hotel bookings, and activity bookings were all going to be missed because of this flight cancellation). However, Stella and Robin miraculously saved the day and were able to rebook our entire 14 night trip to a later date. They both were very flexible, adaptive, accommodating, and understanding of the situation and we are extremely grateful that they had our backs. Our honeymoon included Victoria Falls, Cape Town, and Karongwe Private Game Reserve. Each stop along the way was better than we could have imagined. Ntaba’s attention to detail was outstanding; they provided a travel booklet with vouchers, itinerary, maps, and helpful tips like what to pack and how to decide on gratuity (they even sent us hats and jackets!).
My wife and I had never been to Africa before and now we can’t wait to go back. We HIGHLY recommend Ntaba for your Africa travel needs,...
