This place is so cheap and crooked! I called them and asked if they bought Star Wars action figures, they said yes and that they look the items up on ebay and give you 20% of the items value. When I went there they offered me .50 a figure and said they only look on ebay for items still in their packaging! They call themselves a collectors store but rip you off on your items only to sell them at top dollar. Also beware of buying video games from this place. I bought a Nintendo Switch game from them and before paying I inquired about their return policy. I was told they have a 24 hour "buy and try" period so you can try out the game and return it if you don't like it. What they neglect to tell you is they will not give you cash back only in-store credit so I was stuck with either having a game I didn't like or spending in-store credit on another game I likely wouldn't like. I highly recommend anyone who wants to sell their collectibles go to The Great Escape on Bardstown Rd. and if you wanna buy games go to Gamestop, at least they give you cash back when you...

Employees do their best to be helpful and kind! but can only do so much when a company doesn’t care about their workers in the slightest, late hours with no security or safety precautions for employees ESPECIALLY after more then two violent robberies including a man literally being shot inside of this store really make me avoid shopping here sadly which sucks because this end of town really needs more hobby and game shops like this! gamexchnage corporate could care less about any of their workers or customers for that matter. I would love to feel safe and comfortable taking my time to shop here! but after ANOTHER violent incident recently I can’t in good faith support a company who so blatantly disregards the health and safety of their employees and customers. Also forgot to add on more than one occasion i’ve been in the store as the same time as corporate management and they could not have been rude and disrespectful to the patrons and employees...

Owner of this store is truly one of the least empathetic and careless people to run a business. After multiple robberies, there are absolutely ZERO safety measures implemented. He assumes that robberies are bound to happen and that there isn't much to be done. Someone died in here! Shot in the store! I don't feel safe in here and neither should you, knowing that the owner does not take your safety or the safety of his staff seriously.

In all honesty, you should take your business elsewhere. I wouldn't waste a single penny here. Not to mention how absolutely atrocious the trade in values are. 15-30% of the value of an item? Take your stuff to Through the Decades on Hurstbourne. They will give you 50% of the value at MINIMUM. Claims to give competitive values but can't even compete with the little guys in town.
