El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Louisville

Food was great, but man they give you a lot of onions with the Fajitas. I ordered the Fajitas Al'Carbon, which it chicken and steak on a bed of onions. I didn't know they meant a king size bed of onions. It seemed to be about 3 to 4 regular sized onions sliced and lightly sauteed. The salsa was meh, was hey there's no additional cost for that. Just an FYI for those that like constant attention from their server, I did not experience it, I saw him about 4 time. Once about 10 minutes after being seated to get my drink order, once to get my food order, once to refill my empty drink that had been sitting there empty over 5 minutes (3 tables total were filled in this place). And the final time to give my check. This didn't bother me that much, because I rather not be bothered 20 times in a sitting, but if you see my drink almost empty by the time I order food you might want to check on me more than that. Me an my friend came in yesterday to grab a bite to eat this was our first time ever dinning at this restaurant. I must say the food it’s self was delicious, but the service we received was honestly the worst service I have experienced in a very long time, the younger man that waited on us, I believe his name was Louis, he was rude and made me an my friend extremely uncomfortable, Almost like he didn’t want to be bothered by us. once we were seated we waited for a long time before we were even greeted. And then sat for most of the meal with out a refill, and not to mention when speaking to us he was short and snippy. I’m not sure if the young man was have a bad day, but if so It’s unnecessary to treat the guest that way. I recommend if you dine here request someone other than...

I want to start by saying this could have been a five star review, but what brought it down was the condition of the building. The food was spot on, they did an excellent job with the items that we ordered. The Chilla Quiles had a great flavor, the tacos were crispy, and everything was just like you would expect. The cheese dip was good, and salsa was spicy and regular. The service was good and what I really liked was being able to pay at the table, through my phone. It made it a lot easier to deal with.
