Five Guys — Restaurant in Louisville

Circling back around after giving the Dixie Hwy location another try 1/25/24. Let me just say… MUCH BETTER! They were pretty busy and everyone worked so well together. The restaurant was clean and the leadership was strong tonight! He was shouting out orders, ticket times, and words of encouragement and support to the staff. The wait time was minimal considering how busy it was. Strong leadership is such an underrated skill and they killed it tonight. My opinion of this location has been changed for the better. Well done team!

I want to give this place more stars but the tables and floors being sticky and the drink station being covered in filth is why they are only getting 3. I’ve been there 3 times. The first time it was amazing. My food was perfect and restaurant was clean. The last 2 times it’s been filthy. Thank you for being closed Easter Sunday, (March 31st) for your staff to enjoy time off with their loved ones to celebrate the resurrection of Yahshua. I love the build your own burger with all the fresh topping choices to choose from! The Banana Milk Shake is really tasty, so tasty, I haven't tried anything else so far (there's a malt option that needs to be removed tho, it's not available). I saw a bacon flavor shake yet haven't been adventurous enough to ask about it. I also forgot to ask if there's a gluten/sugar free bun option. The plaque signs by the cork boards is a thoughtful note, thank you for appreciating your customers (& employees alike). Very interesting place. My husband used to go many years ago and he told me about it. I finally went and was very amused by the atmosphere. They call out your name very loud when you arrive for a pick up order. They also have barrels of freshly roasted peanuts that you can help yourself to. The staff is very friendly and surprisingly everyone had a smile on their face. They were a bit slow but the food was pretty good so I can't complain about that. I didn't give 5 stars simply because I think the prices are extremely high for a burger and hotdogs. It's still a fast food establishment and they have fine dining prices.
