We wanted a few hours on the Ohio River and on a budget. We knew we weren't getting lots of horsepower. Our 20' boat was great for our party of 7. 2 hours of fun for my family and for less than $200. I could have paid more for a longer time or gotten more powerful boat somewhere else. But we were on a budget. Very pleased with this business.

We enjoyed our two hour boat rental from Louisville Boat Rental. The staff, James was very helpful. The boat was clean and well-maintained and we felt very safe. The Ohio river was very enjoyable and we are looking forward to coming back.

So....in April our family rented a boat from these people. Had a great time...took the $200.00 deposit on husband's credit card, Few weeks go by still no refund when we realized his card was frauded so his bank gave him a new card. Well before his card was frauded they had time to give the money back, said she tried on old card...understand that you couldn't put it on old one..then She told my husband she was mailing out a check. Its been over a month no check, tried calling she wouldn't answer so I decided to call the rental place...Well he told me they sent $200.00 in cash in the mail...like what company does that... none....he said we disputed it with our bank.....Nope did not...husband talked to bank and said can't do that....they owe you that money not us...basically they said we need to file a police report with these people who are lying and stealing our deposit. They said they don't do checks and are lairs that they sent it out. We never got anything. PLEASE BE AWARE of this company. Will never rent from them again.

James and Louisville Boat Rental were terrific!!! I had no boating experience - he took the time to walk us through the rules, help us out and lay the groundwork for a great day on the river. I loved it so much we came back the next day. We rented a pontoon for seven of us - the boat was great. Great power for cruising. The rates were reasonable and I would recommend James and his company to anybody that wants a day to quote Bob Dylan - just watching the river flow. I will be...

This place is awesome !!!! There is not enough room to say how easy, enjoyable, and relaxing Mr James made our first boat trip. It truly is as easy to rent a boat as they claim. Neither one of us had any experience but after explaining and going over rules we had no problems it was a blast and we actually returned the following day with other members of our family. Thanks again Mr James for making this experience so fun...
